Bought this a few months ago , I put the catback on once i got it but not the downpipe . It sounded pretty good with the stock downpipes, but i finally put spd downpipes on today and im loving it . I cant get enough of it ! The downpipe were a b**** to get on , but it was worth it for sure . Thanks spd for the quality product 👌

@justinbalanciere8668 On start up, there was some whistle , but very minimal. It's mainly a louder exhaust tone with just the catback. If you want the turbo whistle, then I definitely recommend getting the full turbo whistle package .

@@thomassarman9510Yes just installed mine today after about 5 cool downs and warm ups it sounds almost identical. It has a little bit less whistle off the idle compared to the video but rev to 1500 and let off… sounds mint.

I think this sound the best I found yet! 1 major problem though. I watch a few videos where dude were replacing their SPD exhaust in 2 years due to holes from poor choice of steel and thickness of steel.

I'm so pumped, ordered my about a month ago. I understand the long wait, should arrive on Tuesday and ready to install. Been waiting to install downpipes and turbo adapters all together. It should be the topping on the cake, working along with the 93 tune installed.

Sounds so good! I see lots of online comments about people hating the V6. But I see it this way: there’s V6 Tacomas and Colorados and they sound meh. Not bad. Not good. This is similar to those, with BOOST. Not too much Eco but there’s Boost. Definitely looking into this for my F-150.

People that hate in the Ecoboost never drove one I test drove a 5.0 and Ecoboost I like the snappyness of the Ecoboost but for a V8 I would not do a ohc I like my simple pushrod engine with carburetors if I wanted a V8 but thats just me.

@@cesargt5848 the second gen 3.5 Ecoboost (2017+) has internal wastegates and a redesigned turbo housing that make little to no whistle. The turbos are slightly bigger so they make more power but no fun noises. They are basically the same turbos on the second gen raptor 3.5 HO

you can get the whistle with their turbo adapters and Cat. But I think it's better with their catback. I have it on my 4" magnaflow catback but I feel the SPD GX would sound better. So I just ordered their GX series with the res delete and 5" tip. I'd say get their entire kit at once if you can.

It will fit but there will be almost no whistle. Sorry to disappoint but the 3.5 ecoboost lost it’s whistle when the gen 2 was released in 2017

What air intake on this truck? I have installed this kit on my 2013 but barely get the whistle. I am pleased with the sound and performance though. Wondering if cold air intake will bring out the turbos more.

@@Total_Havoc I think the issue is there are 140,000 miles on my turbos. New turbos would probably have a lot more whistle. I do have some decent whistle now though. I feel like it has improved some over time and with the additional mods.

@@Total_Havoc I'm happy with it. Probably could accomplish something similar for less, piecing together your own. I have the exhaust manifold leak so I'll be looking at replacing those with aftermarket and might look at new turbos when it comes time for that.
