2011 BCS Championship Game Oregon vs Auburn -- 30 minutes 

No.1 and 2 scoring offenses. Auburn had the No. 63 total defense and allowed 30 plus in four games. Oregon didn't crack 20 and they barely got 40 together. I saw this game live 10 years ago and I still can't believe it happened this way.

I bought about $200 worth of booze and food to watch this game with friends, and there was a huge ice storm that day so I ended up watching alone. I was still ecstatic with the outcome. It was not Cam's best game of the season by far, but Auburn's defense (Nick Fairley) was the difference, from the safety to the shoestring tackle to set up the 4th down stuff at the goal line. War Eagle!

When he said "Auburn has won the BCS championship" he sounded about as excited as someone watching two flies screw on a wall.

One of the greatest national championship games. Oregon had its chances and fell short. But the SEC wanted defense and they got it that day.

Auburn came out of nowhere that year! Cam Newton was powerful

that field was AWFUL

That grass was awful. Players were slipping left and right. Definitely favored the Tigers. Ducks were the faster team

crazy how sloppy this game was. Great game none the less but still sloppy as hell.
