It all really depends on what you need. If you don't need room for four, then get the Corvette. I've never driven a current gen Camaro but I've heard that they're difficult to see out of. I have driven and reviewed (check it out) a C6 Corvette and they have good visibility, good performance, and decent trunk space, but they lack in quality. Like I said before, it all depends on what you need. Hope this helps.

My Grandpa had a 2013 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible. It was a 60th anniversary edition. I would go to his house a lot when I was younger. Every day, we would go to sonic in it with the top down of course. It's a shame he sold it because I loved that thing so much.

l like this generation of the Vette, mostly for its styling.

Fun fact, only 3112 base model coupes were made in 2011. 813 of those were black. 1561 had these optional chrome QX3 rpo wheels as shown here. 1041 had dual mode exhaust shown as well. More people were buying the Grand Sport models for this year, so production was low for the base. I bought this same exact car a few years ago, year, color and options, but mine has the 3lt trim and its a manual. I'll prob never sell it!

That corvette looks awesome C6. I like this generation and it’s my favorite.

I personally like it and would take one over a GT500 or Challenger SRT-8. I know that many people would disagree with me but I just have always liked the new C6 Corvette. I think it looks great.

I must be the only one that likes the interior. I think its decent, especially for its price, and performance!

unmistakably a corvette i can tell blind by the sound of it starting up and revving, the C6 still puts sports cars exotics which are more than 3 times the prices to shame after having been around since 2004/5, it is by far the "greatest bang for the buck" machine no doubt about that. and i say that as a german! i cannot wait to see the next gen C7 revealed, so far chevrolet has been hush hush about it which makes it all the more exciting for me.

@mak450 If I'm not mistaken that recall was for a faulty cruise control switch. F150's without cruise control were not part of that recall. This was not a recall for the entire F150 lineup.

This is the coolest corvette model ever made I have to get one

great review. Im saving up for a deposit on a 2008-09 C6 base coupe just like this one except a manual 3LT (or min. 2LT). i'll be ready by September 2023 and will be cherry picking a clean, low mileage unmodded one, like it came out of Bowling Green. With Covid inflated prices a good one is about 30k now, which is about 10k more than pre-covid days.

I hope this doesn't sound stupid, but will you allow me to post a full tour of my new truck in a similar style to yours? It's only b/c your style is the best.

haha....No worries. I'm in Canada where "entry level" is $64,000 starting point and the ZR1 goes for $132,000. In any case, the door panels and clips are pretty standard across the line. All quality issues aside it's a still a great car.

@Qwbecz Mitsubishi lancer evolution. It has a snow race mode and a automatic gearbox, and all wheel drive. Rwd cars are bad in the snow unless you have some weight on the rear wheels, but I'm sure sports cars won't handle right with 300lbs in the trunk. Solancer evolution or a Nissan maxima, it's a front wheel drive car with 291 horsepower. Ut starts at $29k and can get up to $40k with all options included.

@1mlb704 True it is better than engine or transmission problems. If I were considering buying this car I'd complain to the dealer until they fixed it or just get a different one that didn't have that problem. It should be covered under the warranty anyways. I know any interior issues I have with my '07 GTI are covered under its warranty.

Is the dual mode exhaust a new option for 2011? I have a 2010 gs and it was to my understanding that the gs was the only model with that feature. Now I could be wrong but that's just what I thought, at least for the 2010 Corvette models.

I wonder does it create a storm in the car when one side is at max heat and other max cool?

@soundstreamchevy im pretty sure those are some flaps in the exhaust to make it louder and breathe easier under heavy acceleration

@ExplorerXP8 What does cubic inch/horsepower matter? We are not limited in size. The LS series has all kinds of power upgrades if you want it. If you are looking at 2 diff motors making 400 to 500HP I would rather have the bigger displacement. It's easier on parts, less wear, etc. You say the vette isn't much faster. Maybe not in a straight line but it's generally much more composed, better weight balance&handling. I like Mustangs but they just are not in the same class as a vette

You don't really need to. You can pull out the fuse for the doors and it keeps them open all the time.

@fitz207 that was something else, I had to look it up, but it was issued at August 1st. The straps that secured the fuel tank were corroding, causing fuel tanks to fall and lead to a few fires. It was for 97-04 F150s. And that was after another 1.2million trucks were recalled for airbag deployment issues in april...I dunno seeing as how they've got just as many recalls on the books as anyone else, I find it hard to swallow that they're trying so much harder...

Hi. As this car is rear wheel drive, is it possible to drive it in the snow, or would you not advise this. It might sound silly however I am looking at buying a car and have been $70000 and $250000 to buy it. It must be auto or paddle shift and be able to drive in the snow. Any help on what my best bet is?

@TUFFGUYS1 They're both gonna be redesigned in the next couple of years & they're finally putting a modern V-6 Engine in the Impala for 2012 with 300 HP as well as a 6-Speed automatic which makes it a little better.

why are the door handles positioned differently on the drivers side and passenger side? on the drives side the door handle is straight across but the passenger side is kind of diagonally up.

The corvettes exterior stayed the same for 2006-2012 I thought they changed the lights abit but they didn't. Rim size can do alot on the cars cosmetics.

@85ZingoGTR Yeah and guess what, this is the base model corvette aka the volume seller. This would be the equivalent of a V6 mustang. The Z06 and ZR1 only come with 6 speed manuals(both of which would spank the GT500).

@Qwbecz Get something with All Wheel Drive if you want something snow-friendly. My Cadillac's Rear Wheel Drive is terrible in the snow. Don't get high-performance RWD cars if you want to use them year-round. Do you want luxury or performance more? Most luxury cars have AWD options, many performance cars do too, if you indeed have $250k to spend on a car.

i would prefer they do away with the exhaust vaccum system they did as i like more of a loud roar haha

@85ZingoGTR No no, I see your point, but you obviously missed mine. I said this car is practical and people use it for everyday stuff. They dont want the hassle of driving stick everywhere they go. I know I dont. I only take my Camaro out for fun, not to get milk and bread at the local store. So therefore, I am talking about the transmission as well. Automatic is so much more easier for getting around and thats what people want these days, a good looking, easy to drive car.

@stopscrewingaround11 You're right. All of the Big 3 have made great strides in quality in the last few years. A couple of them (clears throat) just have a little ways to go still. If I were to buy an American car the Taurus SHO would definitely be a contender.

@hitssquad They could use a multi-link set-up at the rear with an electronic diff, and get much better handling than the leafies that they have now.
