I don't understand why he was so fully rejected by all teams. I've seen way way worse players float around from team to team for a decade. After two seasons not one team would employ him. It's also odd because he was so loved by people. But in the end he didn't have to destroy his body and has made almost double the amount of money that Gronk has. And it cost Gronk so much physically. He's in constant pain and has to deal with that forever. I find it shocking Tim made so much more at ESPN than Gronk in his entire life. He has four rings and so many endorsement deals. Strange world
They played twice that year, and in the first game, Tebow briefly kept the game competitive, so maybe that's where people got the idea, but yeah it's hard to call it a rivalry when Brady v Tebow I ended 41-23 for Brady (in Denver) and Brady v Tebow II ended in a 45-10 NE rout that could have been worse if they hadn't taken their foot off the gas towards the end.
Terrible coaching by denver(2 receiver sets)! Brady offense was more meant for Tebow. Josh McDaniel, the guy who drafted Tebow, but ended up calling the offense for Brady. Using the spread offense without the read option. Nice!
Damn Hernandez man smh threw it all away . Imagine how many more super bowls Brady could have won with Hernandez and Gronk and Edelman with the way he’s been playing smh . RIP
I know what you mean. I go to most of the games. We miss Hernandez badly. Talented guy. Man, are they lacking an offensive line and recievers this season. They are 8-1 right now, but that's misleading as hell. It's been the defense that's done it so far. They're in Philadelphia today. See what happens!!!
I know! I've been watching all these past games, and he really was great at the game! So sad he threw it all away 😢. I really miss watching him play... He would've been an amazing player in years to come. RIP AH.
The 2011 Patriots doesn't get talked about enough, probably because they lost in the superbowl, but they had by far one of the best all-time offenses in NFL history especially when you talk about how effective the passing game was. Short passes were used as running plays to get in favorable 3rd down situations there was little to no run game but no defense could stop this high powered offense.
@@danielennis9413 Lol Dude You clearly dont watch Football... Please go back and watch every Patriots Game from this season and you'll see that not everyone is Wide Open... If an "Average" Quarterback couldve lead this team to the Playoffs then why Couldnt Bledsoe and Matt Cassel do the same under Belichick?
@@bigblue9996 It wasn't the offense that doomed New England in that Super Bowl. It was the historically bad defense. At that time in 2011, the Patriots were the worst pass stopping team in NFL History. That title stayed until New Orleans said, "Hold my beer."
2:17:25 Classic Tom Brady. Point out all the good things the team did. Says there's room for improvement. Points out how well the other team has been playing. Never once says "me" or "I".
And he said it again in his interview on snf after playing against New England. Never makes it once about himself, as you said. Tries to avoid all the attention being placed on him. I don’t like brady because of how much he wins, but man do I have a lot of respect for him
Hernandez made the pro bowl during his 1st year. I have no doubt he would of been a hall of famer. Such a waste. He pissed away a dream only to end up in jail. We all know the rest.
Devin Wasilewski ah dont worry about it, you have the internet to see it again. I forgot to tape the Monday Night game where the Patriots beat the Broncos in 2003 and never got to see it again until someone uploaded it last year
Bottomline about the 2011 Patriots: If Gronkowski was healthy for the Super Bowl, they crush the Giants. Also, Tom Brady suffered a separated shoulder in Week 16 of 2011 season that he dealt with throughout the postseason.
Brady & Gronk were BOTH HEALTHY in Week 9 that 2011 Season, and they still Lost the GIANTS at Home in Foxborough in that regular season game. So that excuse doesn't work. Keep tryin' though. I will say this, dropped passes did cost the Pats the Best Chance to win the SB that year. Oh Well, Chokes Happen.
@@GRIMLOCK07 They would have started to pull away in that super bowl if gronk was healthy they had the lead most of that game. People act like the giants just blew them out. They were a wes welker dropped pass from still beating them.
@@JJJJ-he8bz Patriots had a 7-3 lead for most of SB 42 too, but they still lost. Also, I did state "dropped passes did cost the Pats the best chance to win SB 46." Another thing, I know the GIANTS did not blow out the Pats in their 2 SB wins against them. The GIANTS, like the Patriots, have never blown out any opponent in their SB Wins. Except for SB 21 where the GIANTS beat the Broncos by 19. And the Biggest Pats margin of victory in a SB is 10 points, which is a win, but not a blowout.
Carlo Alberto Guy was all hype. He got exposed eventually. Not hating but he was a stubborn fool. He could’ve been a good tight end, or switched to defense, but his pride got the best of him.
Before this game I never thought its was possible that 8 years later little tim would be in Syracuse AAA batting .205 but after the game I knew it wasn't just possible but it was likely
It didn't though. Denver got Manning and Tebow became a journey man. It is well documented that Elway was never sold on Tebow. If Denver didn't get Manning, Tebow would have come back as a starter. Let's be real though, I really like Tebow but he was never a NFL QB. That season Denver was successful by keeping games close and a solid running game. Anytime the game got out of hand Denver couldn't keep up. It wasn't sustainable although was fun to watch. Pats didn't rank high on defense coming into this game but keep Tebow contained and make him play a pocket QB was the end of it. Also that pats offense was explosive.
@@ChristopherPoitras Yeah nah. Journeymen find ways to stay in the league. Tebow has been done as anything but training camp cut fodder basically from the moment he left Denver. We ended him.
Goes to show how good the Ravens D was. They shut these guys down the following week for the most part and made Tom look pedestrian. If only Lee Evans could’ve held onto the damn ball.

sorry, the audio is just very low. when i uploaded this last year i didn't know how to increase the audio on a video, but i've since learned, so i'll probably re-upload this at some point.
The Denver Broncos looked terrible. I don’t think they could have won because the Patriots were clicking. But when you run the option or the run over and over for losses and all of Tebow’s throws are at least accurate then give the throwing game a chance. Didn’t see more than one errant throw but just no time. Plenty of dropped passes that were harder throws than catches. Denver really was at its worst. Tebow, or Manning, it would have made no difference with supporting cast dropping passes and missing blocks. Probably like the Seattle clobbering of Denver in the Super Bowl.
Think about all of the horrible things Hernandez did before he got to this point and he was still allowed to play with no consequences, its no wonder he didn't stop. It's sad, I wonder what the Patriots future would have been like if he had played out his career. The other thing I took away from this game was how Tom Brady played, honestly I would rather have Tom Brady today in 2021 than this Tom Brady. He is a much more consistent QB now than he was back then. Obviously he was great and had a record setting performance, but today he just seems so much more loose and sure of himself and for good reason. IDK just an observation.
Kyle Shanahan had the Avengers and did not go No-Huddle, which is a recipe if you are playing against a top defense like the Chiefs. This is a version of the Avengers right here, Pats using Hernandez like Deebo and Kittle should be used like Gronk. Welker is a great route runner like Aiyuk, plus he had CMC. They should have tired the defense and keep them off balanced with the no-huddle offense.
And wouldn't you know it this team lost to the same team 4 years prior in the giants just like the 49ers to the chiefs. May we never see this matchup again
Brady says there were things they could have done better! They won 42-10! I guess the only thing they could have done better was Brady not throwing an interception and the defense not giving up any points! Reason why this is the best team for the last 20 years it is never good enough never satisfied always hungry!
I think this team is the best overall offense. Even better than 2007. 2 Pro Bowl type TEs. 2 pro bowl type WRS Welker and Edelman. Plus really good RBS
"All Brady does is throw Checkdowns to good Running Backs" People always say the most Dumbest shit ever about Brady. Yeah, for all 3 of his MVP Seasons he threw "Checkdowns" to his Running Back for every Touchdown, Idiots I tell you
@@danielennis9413 lol Gordon was the first all Pro Wide Receiver He's had on the Team since 2012 Butttt Ok... He's had Troy Brown, Welker, Moss and Gordon Only 4 All Pro Receivers... and No shit Gronk Does the Rest But whos the One throwing him the Ball in the first place?
@@danielennis9413Cool Bro Like I said Before Who is the one throwing the ball to Gronk in the first place?... and who Cares if thats how he throws it If it wins Games then Keep on doing it
A playoff game between the greatest QB of all time and one that you can very reasonable argue was the worst of all time. Why would Mr. Tebow, a fine athlete.. just not choose to use a fluid and athletic throwing motion to deliver a football on time and accurately. He only completed 48% pf his passes for some reason ... No idea why he would decide to do that and think he could win in the NFL.
The one and only time the Patriots ever beat the Broncos in the playoffs. And it took the science experiment that was Tim Tebow at quarterback for them to do it.
3 times in 13 years. Ravens also beat us multiple times and so did NYG. I mean we ONLY won it 6 times over those 18 years. That's 12 losses to somebody.
the broncos just have an unfair home field advantage because technically their on peds and it shows in their playoff record: home 17-5; away 3-9; neutral side 3-5
The TD catch Gronk had where he bobbled it then caught it for a TD. The announcers are idiots, oh the ball did move. No it didnt. Gronk had control all the way through and had his hand underneath it all the way through. These announcers are so bad. Both claimed the refs would over turn it, nope.
I'm sorry I'm a Gator fan and love Tim Tebow and live in Colorado and Tebow Mania was fun BUT who in God's good green earth though of comparing Tom Brady and Tim Tebow at the same time especially 2011 when the Patriots were an offense juggernaut I remember I told my Dad is a big mistake for the media and writers just overhype Tim Tebow and not give any marks to (at the time 3x SuperBowl Champion) Tom Brady took it personal and he just had a field day against the Broncos Defense amd say what you want the Patriots had the easiest schedule in 2011 but still that team was on a mission till they met the Giants
As a Bronco fan I loved the intensity of Tebow - and especially how the whole team played for each other. Tebow had so many flaws yet we still won and Fox/McCoy/Gase/Dennis Allen were the "elite" coaches given credit. Our defense was horrendous against good to great passers and it is comoical they are given the most credit for the run with Tebow. AS much as I loved Manning, I would have liked to see Tebow develop.I think a great coach would have made Tebow great. Sad that McDaniels was fired, as he was a much better XO guy than Fox.
Tebow's line wouldn't block for him. You don't get that far in a season having a _that_ horrid of an o-line; for some reason they wouldn't block for him that day. Maybe they grew tired of all the hype, maybe something happened during practice, I don't know. But it's clear they _let_ New England chase him around the field and get his ass kicked. The Pats would have shaken Tebow anyway the way our D was that year, but it shouldn't have been that easy.
