Mikey is a great guy. I am glad to be able to call him my friend. His knowledge with cars is immense, always enjoy just listening to him. And his personal fleet his awesome, especially his CV.
I love these cars. Got em all. Even Marauders. These cars clean up really nice too. Oil change every 3k key. Drain and fill the transmission pan every other oil change and it will last forever too.
Engine covers fit. Guy didn’t put it through alternator prongs to get flush. I put a 2005 cover from civilian model on my 2010 P7B. On two of my P7B’s actually.
Nice to see you in another Crown Vic. Greetings from Norway. We love these cars. My friend and I, did bye our own 2004 Crown Vic LX in 2006. One is Maroon and the other is Arizona beige. Ford Crown Victoria has become a cult car in Norway too. There are some Police Interceptor's too. We have got ACCN (American Car Club Of Norway) with it's own magazine. I've got three amcars. ACCN will stop E10 for older cars. We have to use addetives as you know.
Love the 2011 P7B :) Very clean and love the matching back seat! The 05' to 2011' engine cover fits the P7Bs! And really pretty up the engine bay! Also, the clime control head may need new O-Rings that I did to my unit and the blend door issue was fixed! Vacuum leaks... My daily driver is a 2010 P7B NM State Interceptor, 168K, all black but a White roof which I want to Wrap it with an American Flag waving in the wind :) I call her The Black Knight! I'm currently stripping my 04' LX Sport for a new paint job, Chestnut Brown, but instead of mettalic, I'm going 2 coats of Pearl :)
@@davidb9323 My 2004 4R70W trannie has been stupid reliable transmission! But it the you have more than 150k miles, you need to put in a Shift kit and a new Motorcraft torque converter... and get this, I bought a 2010 NM State in 2018 and it came with a new replacement transmission :) The main thought is Just Don't Beat on your transmission and it'll last you years! And I'd be more concern with the timing chain, guides, and tentioners!
The chrome door trim has gotta go. The 03-12 Town Cars have legitimate stainless steel door trim that doesn't peel like the crown vics and grand marquis do.
So odd coincidence, though 99.999% P71’s didn’t come with an engine cover, I did come across a rust bucket 06. Not a sap, though that doesn’t matter in this case; Ran the vin on etis when it was still accessible, and it WAS ordered with an engine cover and spare tire cover. I think it’s just as odd too; but I kept the spare tire cover and flipped the engine cover. The engine covers did change over the years, varying in size and even with or without chrome accents. But the drive by wire can take the smallest cover made. You’d just need to get the nut for it. They all got that stud in the intake plenum (elbow) and it serves no purpose other than to secure an engine cover.
Looks like you did a great job on this car. I hate losing the back window defogger when you remove that tint. I wished Ford would have embedded those strips inside the glass instead of laying them on top.
Bro! You need to take a vacation out to New Mexico! We have a Huge Baloon Fiesta in October with 700+ hot air balloons for a week that'll blow your mind! Plus we can do a video on my Crown Vicks, the 2004 LX, 2005 and my 2010 P7B :) And if I'm lucky, I'll have an 2004 Lincoln Hearse as well! A Total 👀 100% Panther Knut :)
Thanks for stopping by, my sister used to live in Farmington NM and we would visit her there…. It thanks for the invite maybe it could come to pass one day. With that collection of panthers, you sir are correct 🤣
@@LoveWhatYouDrive I grew up in the 1960's, Fairlanes and Galaxies... Still have the Grand Father of the Panther Platform; My Mom's 1971 Galaxie500 2 door, 9" rearend has control arms and coil springs! and two LTDs parked next to her! Plans are to put the Galaxie on a Panther frame and keep the original 351/5.8 Windsor motor and ungrade to the 4R100 trans :) Oh... and have two 1972s, F-100 and a F-250 Camper Special too! Retiring in 2 years and guess what projects I'll be working on 🤣😂😁 I truely Love What I Drive!
He says he's not trying to make it look like a cop car yet by taking off the chrome grille and changing the rear fascia now makes it look like a cop car. That doesn't make any sense.
Your dark black Vicky is nicer than my dark brown Vicky their interesting cars but once things start breaking it's a chain ⛓️ reaction!!! My car definitely had criminals and convict's in the backseat at one point of time 😒
