hello Mathew my name is Charles and I also have a 2008 but a limited edition im having problem finding the door code I was not giving a Manuel for the car so im ay a lost can you tell me if you know where the door code this car is located ?
I saw the new owner at Panther Fest that Mr. random reviews put on in Newark Valley, New York. Chitchatted with him about the car, he said a family member accidentally crashed the bumper but a new one is in the mail and he will have it professionally painted sprayed to match The whole front end.
Contact Chris at ADTR.NET Coil overs Cut springs Moog springs +cut springs combo Depends on your budget and want you want! There’s a few coilover options available.
Hate that feature😂😂 also, my turn signal stick feels very loose, you could breathe on it and it would engage the turn signal, is that a common issue ?!
Actually never have heard of a loose stick before or experienced it. But I’m only 2.5 years into the panther game so I’m not a good long term source for that type of question.
Just a helpful hint for others. You don't have to take out the 3 bolts and take the whole plastic housing out. You can just undo the 4 clips to take the cover off and then clip it back on.
The Bug eye dome light housings off the newer Fords, like the 90's Towus also fit if you shave off the locating tabs and just use the screw holes...It will be obvious what you gotta do when you try it.
My family had a 1989 LTD Crown Victoria Police Cruiser (5.0l) with well over 760k on it, My cousin got willed it, we drive the hell out of it some more... then it got stolen....Oh and we used to drive it like we stole it, DAILY, these cars will last forever if you do basic maintenance...Even if you thrash on it.
@@LoveWhatYouDrive it was the first car I took apart and put back together, I also used it to deliver then Oregonian newspaper back in high school, straight piped out the tailpipes, when my grandma passed it was willed to my cousin, I got a 78 Jeep Cherokee and my other cousin got a 1990 Toyota Camry .. we had tons of fun with that crown Vic and it’s even been airborne before, duke boy style… sadly it got stolen for real while my cousin was off in Iraq…we had several panthers after that one though.. I still own one, a PI swapped Town car with a Marty tune… though it’s a work in progress… the fires we had here in Oregon stalled my project but I recently got started back up on it.
All the 2003-2011 Town Cars except Limo in US and Canada had 3.27 open rear ends. Overhead console was 2003-5. 2006 moved the functions to the revised cluster. Chrome wheel arches and chrome rocker moldings are an aftermarket add on. HIDs were optional on all 2004-2011 high trim regular and long wheel base town cars in the U.S. Only the 2003 Cartier L had standard HID. Intake manifolds break from gaskets, heater hose nipple, or the plastic ledge that blows out where it attaches to the aluminum cross over. Mileage isn’t necessarily the reason for failure - it’s more from heat cycles and operation/time. You have a super nice Creme puff car. They had an available trunk storage bin as well as HID options. Nice to have the optional chrome wheels and THX. White wall tires were an option - if you shoot me your VIN I can look it up in Fords database and tell you if it was specified with it. Enjoy the car. Anthony sells the Creme of the crop.
Enjoyed your video. Love the Town cars. I had one but someone turned in front of me and I totalled it. Up here in Canada they are impossible to find. Do a video of your black L sometime. Did you know these Lincolns along with the Grand Marquis and Crown Victorias were built in Canada in a now closed plant in Talbotville Ontario?
Fun fact: this 39:51 video is actually longer than the 37:35 video that Anthony made on this same car! I love the wider but not too wide whitewalls that were added - I wish that you had done a close up of these tires to verify the size/brand. I have a beautiful 2006 Presidential Edition (Signature Limited) in Light French Silk with a black canvas carriage roof, factory sunroof, the same factory 18 spoke chrome wheels, parchment interior. I really like the L, but the factory sunroof was a must have option for me (no factory sunroof for the L). Someday I'll add the tweeters from the THX sound system, and I'm going to find everything to do factory fog lamps. My 2006 is not the collector showpiece this car is, I currently have something like 147k miles - it is my preferred car for road trips.
I own 3 town cars myself, a 2000 cartier,2006 designer, and my cream puff 2009 signature L with 38k on her. i flew from lancaster pa to nashville tn to get her. There is nothing like driving 750 miles back to pa. It feels like a lazy boy floating on air. i love your 2007 L ,it is just a nice as mine.
If you ever get to Lancaster PA give me a shout. Love to meet people who love town cars also. I have owned 6 town cars. My first one being a 1988 at the rip old age of 23. I am 60 now and still enjoy the town car. Thanks for the reply. Mike
Actually the 2000 Cartier is for sale, only because I am out of room in my driveway, lol. It’s listed on autotrader right now. Lancaster PA. Tan exterior with tan interior. Has a little rust but still a nice riding car that has been taken care of. Read the description in the ad for what has been done to her. Plenty of pictures. Mike
Coil kits are $150. Takes 2 hrs tops. Ride is perfect. Lincoln put air ride on them so they will sit level when they're loaded. Ive changed several TC to coils, because they needed pumps, solenoids, bags. People run the leaking bags until the pump dies.
What a most amazing 2007 Lincoln Town Car Signature L (Long-Wheelbase) I've even seen on the planet! It's SUPER CLEAN inside and out! I really love it all! It's PHENOMENAL!!!
Love the car! I also have a 2006 Lincoln Town Car and I just ordered the mayo and mustard Vogue tires! I think it will make the car "pop!" These cars are amazing and run forever. Lincoln should have continued making them after the 2011 final model year.
Hi. My last Brougham was a 1990 and it too was straight out of the wrapper. I still have to give the nod to Cadillac but these Town Cars, 2003-2011, were incredible machines, super reliable and super attractive. Im very happy i discovered the Panther Platform and realized how awesome these cars are. 👍🇺🇸
@NeygarzruinedAmerica I understand, but this law was supposed to apply to all brands with a v8 or v12 engine. That's why it doesn't seem right to me that only the Town car should be stopped.
@@florinmarc5510 I mean Ford had the ecoboost crown vic but it was replaced by the Ford taurus so I'm guessing same for town car was replaced by lincoln Mkz or mkx I forget which
False. There is a big difference between the air suspension and coil. I have a vic and a town car and it's night and day. Repairing the air suspension on these is so easy.
@@malik205ify it’s probably seized on there, try spraying some penetrant and you’ll just have to pry it off gently with a crow bar or something where you can leverage against the engine. And slowly and gently go around to loosen the pulley from the back.
What a perfect Town Car L and love the color! On my 2004 Crown Vick LX the air bags were dry rotted, so I replaced them with springs and I will say it does ride better :)
