This car review is way off the mark! I happen to own a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and I don't experience ANY of the negatives depicted in the video. NONE. In fact, I feel the Sonata Hybrid is the best car I've ever owned. By the way, I'm averaging 42 MPG in mixed driving. As for the guy who responded to the video by saying that hybrids are for "wussies", I'd like to counter by saying that gas guzzling cars are for immature, insecure men who think a car is an extension of their privates.

10 plus years into the future and I have a 2013 version of this vehicle. No issues. Very reliable so far and drives smoothly.

If Hyundai can prove it's long term reliability like Honda and Toyota, Hyundai may be (one day) the go to brand.

For me, the only problem with the front design is the mustache. Other than that, I think it's very attractive... much better than the smushed-face look of the regular Sonata.

I have the sonata hybrid premium. Get 45mpg hwy @ 65-78mph (important to use cruise cntrl, or drops to 38.). With mixed driving, getting 32-38. Handling is incredible, power is not lacking. Ive never had a new car where so many strangers approach me and rave about it. Its appearance is ultra modern, high quality, and sporty(It looks expensive). Whether this is good or bad is up to you. Features equal the Acura TSX, but looks far better! I see the Acura drivers jealous stares at stops!

This is by far the best looking Hybrid compared to the others out there in its class! and the science that went into the body is genius, it definitely spent some time in the wind tunnel... Also, I don't know what the review means by it only works up to 62mph, I have reached 70+ and seen the hybrid mode kick on. Also, I have NO issues whatsoever in performance... It sure gets up and goes with over 200 horses, I have surprised quite a few individuals with its swift-ness

I for one LOVE the exterior and interior designs, the 'blinged out' headlamps and coupe like roof line are really nice touches

this car is the combination of everything. Infiniti-G interior, Volvo climate control... even the engine cover, Benz.

🤪😢Just got the Diagnosis for my “ 2014 Sonata Hybrid Limited” with Numerous Fault Codes,....Guess WHAT ?? I NEED A NEW COMPUTER !!! $4,500 !!!! Plus Labor...OUCH !!! I’m just under the 60,000 mile Limit on the warranty so I’m “Just” covered,....Lucky I Guess, but not HAPPY with HYUNDAI !!! Anyone else have to Go thru this,...& If So, @ How many Miles ???😔 My 2014 is the Last in this body style, 3 & 1/2 yrs of driving it has been great except for this recent ISSUE !! Have to Buy an Extended WARRANTY NOW, & That will be Pricey !!!😢

He said in the video base price is around 26K his tester which was loaded is around 31K

OMG!!!! Thanks for the honest review. Unfortunately the negatives out weigh the positives just enough for the new Toyota Camry to blow this car out of the water when it debuts on Aug 23rd. I like the start up chime though.....

Hey Steve did u notice any "pulling to the left effect" when driving the sonata.

@CSplayahata Were you accelerating when this happened? It could possibly be torque steer which can cause a "pulling to the left effect" when accelerating. Torque steer is caused because the vehicle is front wheel drive and the wheels are not locked in one direction like a rwd powered vehicle. You may have not have experienced this before because some cars have had torque steer engineered out of them or it is just very slight. Though this may not be the problem, it is just a suggestion.

it is there first time to try something new other then copying every other company. and i think they did a good job he says its slow how many actual good hybrids go from 0 to 60 in under 7 seconds

Hyundai Hybrid should be ok if not too spirited. I am not sure what is wrong with this particular one.

@alphaswimmer55 I believe what he ment by most attractive full hybrid was probably, most attractive that most people could buy, most attractive in the segment. compared to other ones like fusion, camry, and altima.

Horrible execution on the front end. I think Hyundai threw Peter Schreyer into the closet and locked the door during the development, Their is no way he could have signed off on this considering the rest of the product line that Hyundai has released.

@mkendzmeet but i would like to say is though you need to drive it and actually play around with the car for your self i drove one and everything he said isnt all that true. ive drove up a pretty steep hill and it went about 80 in around 7 seconds so that doesnt seem like a car that doesnt wanna pick up speed to me.

@rob11s I would too. I just saw a review of this car and they got no-were close to the EPA ratings lf 36/40, more around 31 city and 40 hwy max with a very light foot, I'd be pissed if I spent over $30K on this and get those numbers

I'm not a fan of those overdone LED lights, looks a little aftermarket. I'd also have to agree that the ct200h is a prettier hybrid than the Sonata, but Sonata is probably second.
