Hey I changed sparks and coils and had a cylinder 2 mis. I changed them again and got it read a month later as it was still Driving rough now I have a multiple misfire .. what do you recommend ?
@@emyaburrell1210 I would start by disconnecting the coils one by one with the engine running to see exactly which cylinder is misfire. One faulty cylinder is found check for defective ignition coil, spark plug, fuel injector or low cylinder compression. But if more than one cylinders are misfiring then I’ll start by checking for vacuum leak or incorrect fuel pressure.
Swap the coil to a different cylinder and check if misfire follows. If yes, then you have a faulty ignition coil. If no l, next step will be to check fuel injector and compression
Hi Jay, SES light came on so Diagnosis by Auto Zone and O’Reiley recommended replacing bank 1 o2 sensor. Replaced upstream o2 sensor twice in the last 3 weeks and the service engine soon light reappears within 5-7 days?? What are your thoughts on that? Thanks!
