Got an 05 with a delete.. the delete part happened when the muffler rusted and finally fel off... sounds great and I just left it like that.. with no muffler.. it's super loud and sounds great
@@Ginger_Vet1992 interesting never had that problem. Can definitely see how that could happen. Weird I've even slept in my truck with it running before all night. and I'm still alive lol. Maybe a bad cat? Causing unburned fuel? And did your truck sound good as well? I'm about ready to add a muffler back on for the sake of my ears and I feel bad for my neighbors when I come home late at night. Lol
My whole pipe after the catalyst fell off including the muffler so now it has no muffler or the back O2 sensor after the catalyst and damn it runs so much better. Better throttle response much better
sounds amazing at idle/start-up. sounds great ripping around town. at like 2-3 grand of revs you get that amazing snappy sound that breaks necks as you drive by. BUT, be warned at highway speeds of like 110+ the drone is incredibly loud and almost too much to handle for long periods of time. If you are mostly driving back roads its actually very quiet around 90-95.
Thinking about doing this to my truck on a 01 Chevy Silverado 1500 4.8 v8 just hate how I can’t hear any exhaust just the motor on my truck lol there’s a shop that did it for my buddy and it only cost like $50
Sounds awesome. Is there any potential of damaging the engine if there’s no muffler? I was wondering if I can do it to my 09 Dodge Ram 1500 it’s not a hemi
Reese Nelson he may not know how to weld that may not be his line of work but if you are willing to do it for $20 you're probably not making the kind of money that he is and out of a job considering he paid $200 for his setup obviously money isn't an issue for him
I'm not sure, my truck has a level kit to fit these so I would imagine you would need at least that, try googling your truck online forums and see what guys are running to have a setup like this, you can also go to custom offsets website and go to their gallery enter your truck info and it will let you see what people run
Your front lights tinted or aftermarket ? I’m trying to get ones exactly like that for my ram, I got a 2011 too in white just like yours just the wheels are different, and I don’t know do to me not paying attention to your truck, but mine has the vented hood
