was nice to see a video on this, thanks. Its pretty much the same procedure on the older M series. Oh, I too always work on sleds while wearing close to a grand in Klim gear lol.
For the 1100 ya don't need a washer, just flip the deflection device. You need a 9/16ths instead of a 10mm for the 1100. Some of the guides carry an oil filter wrench so you don't even have to wrench it, but a third hand helps.
Good afternoon. Please tell me where you can buy sliding bushings for the drive variator Arctic Cat Sno Pro M8 153 2010, Or from what material to make (you need to know the exact marking of the material)
Just found this videos I have a question I got my belt on an everything but my belt deflection piece would not go back into the top clutch all the way . Anything that could help I appreciate
Hey got 2013 xf 800 high country limited went to install new dayco xtx belt that it calls for and on idle track will move on its own off the ground but when put on ground won’t move put old belt on works fine anyone else experience this issue and have solution for me Tks
Yes, there is a break-in period for a new belt-generally speaking, 50 km (30 mi.) is a good period. During that time, try to vary the RPM. Avoid strong and sustained acceleration and wide open throttle for sustained periods. But you can still have fun. Thanks for watching.
Every sled needs to have belt replaced several times in its life lol,, what are you talking about? A belt should be changed once every 2000-3000 miles or once a season for normal riding. For mount a in riding or hard riding with a 1100 turbo it should be every 2000 miles or once a season.
Just blew my belt for the first time on my new 1100 turbo and found they gave me the wrong washer in the tool kit! It was a 2 inch washer but the hole was a lot bigger then the bolt so it did nothing and just had to muscle clutch open
I’ve bought 3 of the arctic cat sleds I’m done with these piece of shits worst engineering ever just work on a Polaris 1time to see the engineering differences
