16 and I just got this car yesterday. It handles incredibly smooth, the right side blind spot is the only problem I've had in a perfect car. This car may have turned me into a life long Chevy man.

The HUD (heads up display) is very nice! I have a 2012 2LT. I've never looked down at my speedometer. Every car should have a HUD.

I bought a 2012 2LT with the RS package yesterday. I stepped up from a kia forte koup SX. I had a nice car, now I have a great car. One huge difference is the quality. The camero feels solid, sturdy and built to last. The kia knobs, stalks and doors all felt inferior. I have a car that feels it could last years. My cam is red with a black stripe across the top.

@aezhob Those are the adjustments to the Heads up display. The round buttone scrolls you through the different views on the windshield and the rectangular button adjusts the image up and down on the windshield, based on your sight level. Good question!

Dude, same here! altho mine was v8. Got it as my first car and even practice drove it during the driving school hours(much to my dads dismay LOL) It was my motivation to fix the license and no, my dad didnt pay for it hehe

@WTDQ8 You're tough WTDQ8! The first Z/28 Camaro in 1969 had a 302 V8 engine with an official rating of 290 HP. This V6 at 323 HP runs circles. We prefer the V8 like you though.

The HUD is fantastic! Its spoiled me. Its so nice to have. I've owned my 2LT almost a month and I've never looked down at my speedometer.

What year? And what engine? Typically 12-15k miles a year is average and the more cylinders the less wear on the engine, a V6 with 50k miles will cause more wear than a V8 with the sames miles, with proper maintainence

im 19, Im an intern and when i graduate i will be a class A Member of the PGA fully employed at a country club. i consider this to be affordable but not expensive. within a couple of weeks i will have a 2013 genesis rspec. My comment was originally intended to be a joke. but dont bash this kid because hes excited about getting this car for his birthday.

I only saw 3 new feature/upgrade items, leather dash, bigger shift paddles and I like the backup camera. For the differance in price of around 3k~ the person who bought this could of had the 2SS...plus good resale value. I know you are making a sale but you would not buy this for yourself and if you did you would regret it.

@creativetoms the car is automatic. in order to use the paddle shifters you can switch to the M (manual mode).

@JAAPJXBIT Those are aftermarket. However, with OnStar's Turn-by-Turn Voice Navigation, each Camaro has navigation ability.

I'm at 96,500+ mi. Still going although I had to replace the fuel pump and was it a hassle! The entire undercarriage has to come off to replace it! (RS PKG). Other than that and major trouble with the AC is still handles like new. Love my RS. Now that the Camaro line will discontinue in 2024, I wonder what the value will be for them.

This 2012 looks great in black. Would look better with those wheels polished, not chromed. The 2014 with the new tailites and the new front upper grill/intake which is about half as tall as the 2013 and earlier grill. If you get a 2014 next to a 2013 or earlier you can really see the size difference and the 14 has a larger bottom intake than the earlier model Camaro.

An engine without cast iron exh. manifolds is a welcome engine. I'd like to see higher seat bolsters on the seat and back portion to supplement the side impact airbags. They could be electric, of course, to ease ingress.

Because there aren't just manual and automatics anymore... There are manuals, automatics, sequentials, and double clutch. All of these except for manual gearboxes can be controlled automatically.

I do however love the back up camera, I had one in my Traverse and wish that Chevy would have put one in the earlier models as well. As anyone who has driven a Camaro knows that the A pillars as well as the blind spots are larger than your aver age car, but easily gotten used to after driving. Love my SS, but will be getting a new ZL1 when they start rolling out to dealers floors in a little over a year from now. They just announced that today.

A lot better gas mileage, cheaper gas (SS requires 91 minimum), cheaper insurance, etc. I went with a V6 as I drive 40 miles to work every day, and I had a big GMC Sierra. Almost cut my gas bill and half, I can nearly make a payment with what I'm saving in gas. It's still quick enough for me.

Well, as a consumer, I think the smart thing to do first is ask myself, how long am I planning to keep this car? If it is short, then that is when depreciation matters and I should look at other options. If I plan on keeping it until it breaks down, then depreciation really shouldn't matter. Personally, if I ever buy a car like this, I would keep it until it breaks down. I like to keep what I spend for as long as I can, that's just me though.

@TheSpeedDemon5 Our navigation is voice guided through OnStar so you can keep your mind on your horsepower and not a 7-inch screen. It's there. It's practically invisible, but every Camaro has navigation capability with OnStar. It's like having a copilot in the car. Or like those front passengers in a rally race. We're there with Navigation!

If your budget is 100,000 then go for the Zl1 Camaro at least. It's about $55,000. If you want to get a better car, then go for the corvette. You can get good ones for around $75,000.

i dont know whats wrong with the V6, since they been making them from the start along with the v8 option. the V6 has plenty of hp. its smaller to so it makes it easier to work on to. all it needs is a open air-intake, new exhaust+manifold, etc. and b4 you know it you got a car that has V8 power or more. along with the better gas mileage.

Insurance would be insane for someone at 16-17 years old on a v6 or a v8...but I'm 25 with a clean record. I can afford the insurance just fine on a V6 or a V8, but I also have other payments like rent, student loans, etc. Before my wreck (no fault) I was driving a 2008 gmc sierra back and forth, I was easily paying 100-125 a week on gas, with my camaro I pay about 50-60. I almost make my payments on what I save in gas alone...

@711killerz Place the Shifter to the "M" position at the bottom and then shift up and down through all 6 gears with the paddle shifter buttons located behind the steering wheel. Yes.

@tven99 It's not bad. Pretty comfortable. Has a sports car ride though. You might want a 1lt with 18 inch rims with more profile and air to ride on if you're too concerned about the ride being too sporty.

I have a 2011 SS RS Convertible and I love everything about it I just wish it had the backup camera, I hate the new steering wheel, and im not a big fan of the leather dash other than that the cars are practically the same.

probably coming from a guy thats never driven either of them, just saying. its not all about what car is faster or what has more HP. its all about cruising on a nice fucking day with the windows down jamming some good tunes in a sexy ass muscle car. but you'd have to have a muscle car to understand what im saying.. people need to chill out and quit trying to change peoples opinions on what car they like better. i love both. both mustangs and camaros are beast. i love all muscle cars.

@mothrabattra Glad you brought that up. We have a company that we use that makes a chrome upper and lower grille in the factory design. It looks great. It is exactly what you are talking about. I'll try to get an example for you. In fact, they also have a version that is a smoked chrome as well. Looks great!

The only thing I do not like about the Camaro or the new Chevy Aveo (2012 models) is their dashboard. It looks way too much like a cheap 1970s sci-fi U.F.O. to me...still a bad-ass car that I would drive at any time. Nice review, thanks for that.

@matrox We will shoot the exhaust on the next 6 cylinder Camaro we place on RU-vid. Everyone loves the sound note of the 6 cylinder engine and exhaust. In a way, its louder than its V8 counterpart, on the road.

@mferguson1281 RS is just a PACKAGE! Rally Sport package...you can add it to the LT,2LT -V6 models and SS and 2SS -v8 models...not available for the LS though....

23 200 U.S. dollars = 23 817.1255 Canadian dollars BUT the cost of the car is starting form $23,200 USD and in Canada it is starting from $26,995. So in Canada you have to pay 3-6 grand extra. :(

I know of no stock Honda from the show room that does 0 - 60 in 5.6 seconds. One of those "Tuners" with special Computer Control Chips and nitrous oxide supplements probably...However; I wonder how long those Fast and Furious Mod Tuners will run without winding themselves into pieces!

While I was delivering one of these for my job, I felt cool for about 5 mins then that quickly went away when I saw about 10-15 other camaros drive by me. They're cool cars but everyone f*kin has one.

well it depends if you want a fast car then a v8 but if you want this car with good gas u should get the v6 so i dont know which one to get but gas these days is expensive also the v8 sounds like a beast compared to the v8 hope this helps you
