I NO LONGER own this vehicle. After 7 months of headache I cut my losses and dumped it. There was a horrible smell coming from the engine a few months after owning it and Chevy took most of it apart looking for roadkill stuck somewhere in it. They gave me a crap loaner car. Smell was still present so I took it back to dealer. Chevy held it for another 3 WEEKS replacing 'uncured hoses' that the antifreeze leaked through??? WHAT?! causing the gagging smell. Got car back and left for California for a month. Heartbroken a BRAND NEW car had to be disassembled like that. Came back, started her up and it flashed through every warning sign it had on the dash like a Christmas light show. Was shaking so bad backing out of the driveway I thought it was going to die. Cut my losses and got rid of it for good. I dont miss the car AT ALL and GAG every time I see one on the road and feel sorry for that person for owning one. Bought Nissan and have never looked back.

By her complain in her description is really not valid. She completely jumps to the conclusion that she will never look back at the Camaro and not thinking "You know i probably just got a defective one"

Thanks. Yeah I went with the Vic Red and Black interior with the RS package. I was worried about the brushes as well. I'll have to try the wash that pulls you through then. I didn't realize how wide it was until people park beside you, and you have to squeeze in because of how long the door is lol.

I just got me a 2012 2LT, Black with Gray interior, mine has the black grille, and performance exhaust. I love this car, its my 4th Camaro, and its by far the best and fastest.

I don't like the visors, but its still an awesome car. A small thing like visors is gonna change my mind on getting this car.

I just bought a 2015 Chevy Camaro 1LT with RS package, nav, backup camera, and dual stripe package. I have put almost 1000 miles on it since getting it in December, and I love it, no issues whatsoever. The power is a bit disappointing, but I got the V6 model for fuel economy as I commute 30 minutes each direction to work, and 323 HP from a v6 is nothing to sneeze at. There are also tons of aftermarket mods for this car. Sorry you got unlucky to have a bad one, but this car is built nothing like American cars before it, Chevy is building cars to last now.

Niiiiiiiiice..i have a 2012 too...but I wouldn't close trunk by the corners...it'll make it eventually start warping and chipping paint on corners

Yeah you're right about taking you time and finding what works for you on the exterior and interior. I 'm going with the Red exterior and Black interior. After seeing your vid I searched hard for that one, and the ashton grey. I test drove the white, but I just didn't see myself in it. Honestly your vids have been a HUGE help in getting this car. Thanks! Just wondering do you find that you like the xm sat radio, or do you find that you listen to your ipod more?

I bought my 2011 Camaro rs 1lt and so far I'm happy. Wish it had a rear view camera thou. I struggle parking this car :( lol

i know your comment is 6 months old but the halo lights come with the RS package, thats an extra $1,000 for some nice cosmetic additions, worth it in my opinion

I've had my 2012 2LT RS for about three weeks now. I like it a lot but have two complaints. Its a very heavy car. I feel the weight fighting me during turns and when braking. The other complaint is the tires. The two in front are larger than the two in back so I'll be forced to buy a new set of tires every time a rotation is due. You made a wise choice. Camaros look much better than mustangs. Camaros look beastly. Like predators on the prowl.

I have a 1991 camaro RS and personally i'm in love with it. I think the new camaro has changed too much. The older camaro all the car is in the front and they have a tiny ass. Plus cup holders?! Who needs those in a camaro (;

Yeah I just did some further research :P Sorry to hear about the problems you had with the car. After so much trouble you'd think they'd offer a replacement but this is definitely a more isolated issue. What Nissan did you go with? Altima coupe?

My goal is to get a Camaro while in college (since I'm only 17 now). Mine will be LT with RS package, sunroof, and connectivity package. Except mine will be white with black ralley stripes. You didn't like the white? I checked one out at the dealership and loved it. The only colors I really like are white, imperial blue, and maybe dark grey. However, I LOVE your car. BTW, what percent tint is that?

Nice video! Thanx! This will help me with my patience as I wait for my 2013 2LT to be delivered. It will be Victory Red with the gray leather seats. Oh, it's going to have the 7" screen. All in all it should be worth the 2 month or so wait (missed the 2012 cut off) but then again your video makes me want it to get here yesterday!

hey there i just got my camaro ss recently and it has the remote start button, i tried what you did but the lights just blinks and it dosent start is there something you have to activate inside the car to preform the remote start? need help thanks

Sorry to hear about that. Only being the second Camaro in the country to have that problem. You have some back luck my friend. But the Camaro is a really nice car and I have a friend that has one he loves it. Plus I driven one pretty nice.

Are you considering the fact that this is a 323hp RWD V6. Its cheaper to produce FWD cars and smaller engines, plus any loaded car will run up the price tag. People like the cheaper hyundai and kia, but their prices are on the raise too with growing popularity. To some people a camaro is just a car, but price and purpose wise you have to compare it to cars like the genesis coupe, ford mustang, dodge challenger, etc... This v6 gets 29-30mpg hwy so thts good (compared appropriately)

I like the new camaros. They look very bold and masculine, much better than the mustangs. However they're way too expensive for what you get. A 2012 kia optima sx turbo has lots more features for the same price and its possible to get other cars loaded with leather, sunroof, etc for lots less than a comparable camaro. The only thing stopping me from getting a camaro is the horrible gas mileage. I'd rather spend less time (and money) at the pump.

Had the same problem with a then new 2006 Mustang GT. Total lemon, had serious drivetrain and engine problems. Ford screwed me around something terrible, would not fix problems. Traded it on a Nissan and have only had 2 issues the dealer took care of promptly.

man im jealous i have just the 1LT only extra is the wheels and spoiler. but only one they had at the dealer in a manual which out getting into ss range and because Im still under 25 i cant afford the insurance on one :(.
