It's called a NUTSERT or RIVNUT tool And you should tape the wickerbill in place to check for alignment before marking the hole locations. .

Just got mine! I was worried it would not look right with my yellow spoiler but now that ive seen it on your red camaro i feel much better! Cant wait to have it installed

So I screwed up drilling my first hole... luckily I had a bigger size rivnut on hand that was able to fit snug into the screwed up hole. I just gotta get a bigger screw and washer to match now and hopefully not screw up the other holes. I have some hope left in me that it hasn’t all gone to waste

What is the purpose of the wickerbill. It appears it would just create wind drag. Not sure if a fan yet. I like small spoilers or short small fins but dont get these. Good video though

are you aware of whether this would fit a 1LT? it does not specify that type but i'm assuming the spoiler has the same dimensions for all 5th gen v6s

Did u ever have to use any fine sandpaper on the edges? I got the standard over the polished edge thinking they’re shouldn’t be much difference but seems like the standard edge leaves a lot of imperfections on the edges
