In this video i put new seals in the oil cooler and install. i also install water pump, timing cover connecting rod bolts, and oil pan. there should be one more video of getting the engine ready to put in. please like and subscribe if this helped at all. and as always thank for watching.

When you're installing the timing cover, is there any kind of care that needs to be taken for the rectangular port of the timing cover to the port on the oil pan? I'm about to start with my rebuild and truth told, I'm not sure how the oil pick up works on this engine.

Hi great job,....i have recently rebuilt my 1.4 turbo motor ,new turbo included ,then suddenly out of nowhere ,all 4 cylinders began to oil up excessively to the point she was bellowing oil smoke out of the tail pipe,i then replaced the valve cover ,which definitely improved things alittle but would still smoke after driving for a very short time ,...i am currently at my wits end,tried about almost every thing for the exception of tearing down motor again to inspect ,but im not convinced enough ,because because a compression shows full and equal pressure in all 4 cylinders ....any ideas ????????

Next time you dont have torque specs use your torque wrench to back one bolt off so you at least have an idea of a torque specs it helps me. Workin on my 2015 1.4 cruze need an idea of what I'm getting into myself from one mechanic to another great video
