I can be inside the house in the second Floor and be fine, I could be at my next door neighbors house and turn it on from there, whatever your oem remote can reach, that’s what it’ll do, since it uses your oem remote, also a dead battery can be your issue, I would replace the battery on the remote if I was you

The ob2 port will still work as it should, it doesn’t affect anything it’s just basically tapping into the wires and then giving you the new ob2 port but in theory it should work as normal

My cars tuned and works with my radio system that also plugs into the OBD port

You can reset it. Disconnect negative battery for 5 minutes. Switch the key to run. Connect the battery. Turn ignition off. Lock doors with button on the driver door. It should reset. This resets you pats module while keeping all keys.

Ok so i did everything and now im at the programming part. I do what the instructions say and all it does is put it on the run/on mode, cuts off then does it again. I tried what u said with putting it back in for 10 seconds and starting it. Doing that it didnt wanna cut off at all till i unplugged the module idk what is wrong

@@ImmortalBanditz it won’t cut off unless you do the sequence on the remote fob again OR you press the brake pedal, OR it sits for 10-15 mins on it’ll shut itself off!

Sadly it won’t but if you search a plug and play remote start on Amazon in sure you’ll find one for your year and depending on weather it’s a push to start or key to start this brand might make a remote start for your car

I didn’t get any adapter, everything that I got to make the car remote start work came with the kit, the link is in the description!!!

The car has 3 keys programmed to it, one key is a oem ford key, the other two are duplicates non-original keys, they all work to turn the car on, all three keys work!

I’d try to redo the steps see if there are any changes

I don’t think it does, well tbh the ad says it doesn’t but if you think about it , you could bypass the clutch switch making the car believe you’re pressing the clutch in without actually doing so which means you should be able to make the kit work you’ll just have to remember to always leave the car in neutral with the e brake on, you can also manually start the car without pressing the clutch if you bypass the clutch !

Tbh I had one key as well I had two after market keys made, I used my aftermarket key (only one) to program it cause I had the same question and it did program I just took the key out and I put it back in (same key)

@@nationaloutlaws4818 I have another question, when you put the secondary key in to program it if I only have one key do I put it in and take it out twice after doing the 3 second turn over and the 15 second wait time?

That’s what I did, I have 3 keys but I only used one to program it, worked that way for me

Lock it the hit the 2x button twice
