i say its YOUR prerogative what YOUR first bike is, because everyone is different. you need to be riding the bike you are confident you can handle correctly. everything else is a moot point.

Only if it is a 2 stroke, those 4 stroke 250's are slow as fuck even out on the track.

fmf apex is not a cheap.. and i mean technicaly any slip on is cheap... but it actually is good quality, just ask michael jordan motorsports buddy

It's never a good idea to start out on a supersport. Most people don't have the self-discipline it takes to ride safely within their limits on a supersport. They will quickly become overconfident on it, and crash. Statistics prove this. Of course... there are always exceptions. Some people have been successful starting out on a supersport. I would recommend skipping the 250. The 250 is so underpowered, it's not good on the highway, and you will be bored of it within a week.

If you are wanting to get into 600's and 1k's, you will be wasting your money on a 250/300. Save the time and money, invest in a legit motorcycle safety school, and pick up a 600. If you go and buy a 250, most likely you will be losing money.

You will lose $500 TOPS. If all you plan on doing is blasting it down the straights in your polo and flip-flops go ahead and buy a litre bike. It's the only thing will satisfy you anyway. If you plan on riding or racing learn on a 250, it will be much easier, faster, and safer.

Why does it have a digital tachometer? These are ugly and not fit for supersport bikes :(
