I can't believe that all this time since the internet, I haven't used it to catch up on some drag racing action. I haven't been involved in this kind of thing for over 40 years.. Man I now remember what i liked about it. This appears to be retro action however.. but times are still better than the 7 seconds for top fuel rails back in the day.. ;-)
5.76 is the a pretty good E.T. for a Nostalgia Funny Car and would be good enough win 95% of the time. The all-time record is 5.58 set by John Hale last October.
Whats with the fish eye lens shots? I would save your time and leave it out. It does nothing to enhance the viewing pleasure. Just pure drag racing action is the best thing.
The best thing I like nostalgia funny cars is you can identify with the car bodys they look like what they are to represent and some even have other motors other than hemis thats true raceing
