you prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the login password. I love any help you can give me
This film, after viewing qualifying video from the early 60's, clearly gives the viewer a detailed idea of how much faster this race has gotten. Thanks for putting it up, and I'm still wondering how it took me so long to find it.
Awesome video. Big time chills. I was up in the penthouse seats with my Dad and brother on this day. Dad had never been. Never forget we were concerned about getting him up the many flights of stairs to our seats. One of the “yellow shirt” gentleman said, “Oh, don’t worry. We’ll get him up there.” Those guys were amazing. One of the best days of my life. Thanks again for the great video.
If you’ve never been to Indy you literally could never understand what this is like. 300,000 screaming fans and 33 fighter jets. It’s definitely something you’ll never forget after experiencing for the first time
Yes, I was trying to go for that effect by keeping the camera rolling non-stop for the first 3 laps. Try it in full 1080p HD in full screen mode to really "experience" it
I've been to the Daytona 500, many other NASCAR races, several indy car races, and here. The experience here was unbelievable and incredible and I never thought I could find something that would top it. Then- I went to the Knoxville nationals last year. No contest- sorry.
Those are the best seats in the house. Many wrongly believe that the best seats are higher up, but that’s only because they’ve never walked up and down those steep steps back and forth to the restrooms-exhausting!
Yeah better bring a good set of ear pro under there. I sit NW Vista when I make it there. Sat paddock couple times, once when it rained whole race and Dario won which worked out good. But man its loud...Some parents sitting there with small kids and no hearing protection. Saw the F1'S there. They had nothing on the IRL's.
I’ve purposefully stood there just to experience that feeling before and it’s SO intense! This is a great vid, but it still doesn’t give a good perspective of just how close they get to you, going that fast and barely missing you. I’m honestly surprised they have seats so close to those corners. I guess it’s safe, it just doesn’t feel like it😂
With the older cars yes, but the new cars post 2012 aren't as loud. It used to be deafening but now it's not bad. I never wear ear plugs because the sound is what gives you the chills. You should be fine without them. Hope you have a great time though, I am looking forward to it for sure. It's the 100th so it's gonna be crazy.
+Zach Whetstine I am the one who recorded this video so I can tell you from experience that if you sit through an Indy 500 in the front row without hearing protection, you will do massive damage to your hearing, most likely permanently.
That is badass! I've got seats in Turn 4 J Stand that are good....but nothing compares to this. Any year you can't go, I'll pay top dollar for your seats! Just message me!
I rather think I do. I’m more a NW Vista ticket (T4, way up high), but for what I can see, I’m giving up *this*. It’s freaking BA. And even the drivers know it bc after a few wks of taking T1, many acknowledge it’s different on race day.
