Thank you for this video. I had replaced this switch and some relays and I lost my brake lights and my jeep would not shift out of park. I forgot to flip that little switch on the brake switch after I replaced it and I was losing my mind until I watch this. Thank you for the reminder.
As an independent teen girl thats stubbon as shit, this was the most useful video ever.i didnt need anyone to help me and i was glad to get it fixed. Thank you so much
Thank you for such a wonderful video brother. Can you help me out with the fault of the ESP BAS yellow light issue on my dashboard? I have it on the dashboard, but I don't know the reason why it is glowing! Is that the same brake switch fault? My model is Jeep Liberty 2010
Great video. I have replaced the switch and both fuses and the bulbs and still have only the 3rd brake light. Do you have any input on what could be causing the other two brake lights not to be working. All other lights are working fine. Stumped. Thank you
I gotta 2007 Cherokee and my third light works only , but they were all working until I put some missing fuses in the under hood module , cause the horn kept going off and the lights wer flashing, so my guess is the module has issues 🤔
How do i get my hazard light button to work ??? All my lights work blinkers brakes and headlights .. but the hazard button does not even work ??? Can you help me please. Oh its a 2016 jeep liberty!
Any idea which fuse affects the turn signals. I can get power to the both front turn signals for the parking break, but I cannot get power to the front turn signals to flash as turn signals. The back turn signals both work and flash.
I have an issue with my Liberty 2012 the reverse light stays on all the time during drive park reverse and neutral. Could it be the same thing but for the reverse light switch?
I've replaced both of those fuses and still have no brake lights on the sides. Just the top center. Any other ideas? Or should I change the switch out?
@santiagomontero5396 yeah it's rare but both brake lights just went out around the same time. Thankfully it was an easy fix but I checked the brake switch to be safe and it functions fine. Thanks for the response.
please help! I have the same model. 2012 liberty, I changed the brake switch and put another in and followed the directions to adjust it. but my Traction control light is coming on periodically. my stop lights stay on when the light comes on and cruise doesn't work. But what's weird sometimes I drive it and no light comes on and nothing is wrong. Is my brake switch bad that I just bought from Advance auto? or is it something else I'm missing?
@@BIGREDnotw Did anyone figure out what causes this?! This EXACT same thing is happening to me! Literally all of the symptoms. The traction control light comes on after a short time of driving. My brake lights do not shut off. Even when the Jeep is parked and off. If I pump the brakes, it will clear for some time. Any advice would be nice.
Hey my bottom two brake lights work but the third brake light doesn't work I applied direct power to the LED board and it lit up I'm losing my mind trying to figure this out I checked the fuses they were fine
Lehew Tech Hi, will you get shocked by connecting the two wires with paper clip? I assume this way will let you know if it’s the brake light switch. Thanks
