Holding a Monster Energy Cup Series points race here would be insane. However, holding the All-Star Race here could make a great change of pace from typical NASCAR races.

The good ol days of Speed channel. God I miss it

This track used to be on the Nascar circuit in 60's and 70's. It's a business, NASCAR won't make enough money at the gate here. The track is size of your high school track, a quarter mile. Even if they build a 2nd deck, and made it a mini Bristol, they wouldn't make enough money on it. It's a shame. I've watched modifieds on this track for 30 years. It's the track they raced on for the TV show Madhouse. You can see the skyline of Winston-Salem and the RJReynolds headquarters, home of "Winston cigarettes", the old sponsor of Winston Cup. If they EVER want to get NASCAR back to his popularity of the 80's and 90's, they need to go back to Rockingham which is now owned by Jeff Gordon, North Wilkesboro, and Bowman Gray. It would be an instant hit.

Get this track to the cup series

I would watch this five times over before another all star race. Beating and banging while trying to hold that low line. Good on LaJoie making an outside pass here. Almost impossible.

I want to put F1 cars here for an exhibition race.

The solution here is easy if you ask me. Create 1/2 scale vehicle replicas for this track and make this a yearly stop every series. This track would be the talk of the racing world if they did that. C'mob people, let's make this track relevant again.

If this current nonsense continues for much longer, a limited Cup field with no fans here would be a hoot. They are probably going to need to keep races as regional as possible for the immediate future, so this would be a massive change of pace.

I accidently restarted the video so in order to get to place I left off I use the skip 10 seconds feature and the rack is so short I noticed that every lap is 10 seconds. Insane..

I love pavement racing but ,,, How is that great racing??? On a track that size,, better to lay down some clay, raise the banks and let the Outlaws show ya how to pass.
