I think this Florida team was focused that even if they played Missouri, I feel Florida would have beat them. This Gators team was focused and on a mission in 2012. They fell five points shy of reaching the final four that year with a gut wrenching 72-68 loss to Louisville in the Elite Eight.

I know this game was a mismatch, but that 2012 season has to be one of Donovan's best coaching jobs to lose by 3 in the elite 8 to the future national champion as a 7 seed. They limped into the postseason but finished very strongly, as Donovan's teams usually did.
