This makes me sad to watch. The last four couple years I came to love the guys on this team and what they did. Now they are back at the bottom and are all on different teams. I hope they can get back on top

Still the best year of baseball I had the privilege to watch. Close to the year we had the streak, but this was my favorite I ever got to witness.

If someone says that team chemistry doesn't matte (s)he should look at this team. No big names, many rookies, but they still won... in big part thanks to great chemistry and great management. Both BoMel and Beane did and still do magical tricks with this team.

I can just say one thing. We went to all games vs. NYY. I was amazed! My son (12 y.o. then) and one of the fans talked, and the fan said: "I feel it - we can sweep the Yankees". I was doubtful, but was hoping for the best, of course. And when we did, what can I say? I was so proud, and yet just in shock! in a good way... Well, Let's Go Oakland! :)

Listened to Ken Korach call the last game of the season in my pickup truck next to the San Joaquin River. Weekday afternoon playing hookey from work. Certain spot where I parked and superstitously I had to park in that same spot over the course of the next 3 season playoff runs. What a brilliant season that was. And well done on the video, sir!

I think that's a pretty easy answer...look at the teams we did win the world series with, lots of veterans and experienced players. Since then the A's have become more of a farm system and when you have maybe 2 or 3 players that only ever been to the postseason a couple times, moneyball loses to experience. Now if we find that magical number in between young and experienced players, we got ourselves another championship in oakland

I agree. Starting pitching has been great as of late but it could quickly go south at any time. How bout Barreto and another minor leaguer for Jacob de Grom and cash? Then sign Lowrie and Davis to 3-year deals and hopefully talk de Grom into coming back for at least one full season. You typically need 3 solid and proven starters to be a serious playoff contender and excel once you get there. A's don't have that yet. Coming into the season, you could even say they didn't have one----Graveman and Manaea were on the cusp but not over the hump. I think Manaea has since put himself in that category. Bassitt, Blackburn, Mengden, Triggs, and Jackson have all had their moments but consistency remains to be seen. Will be interesting to find out if Cahill and/or Anderson can become injury-free long enough to stick around beyond this season. de Grom...Manaea..Cahill..Montas..Jackson/Anderson are the five I would entrust down the stretch

I'm been a life long Giants fan, but have always respected the A's for what they've accomplished during the years. They really are a fun team to watch. I guess you can say the A's are my AL team. Bay Area baseball!!! oh and f&%# the Dodgers!!!

I've been an A's fan since diapers, And I really started getting into watching them in the early 2000's(im 21 now) Mostly 2003-2004 is when I watched. And I tried to order mlb.tv to watch them last year but I'm in a blackout zone so I can't watch the games live. I'm going to have to figure something out because there is no way I'm going to miss watching them any longer.
