That was one of James Jones’s greatest catches. Jones was a great player. Great guy, great family and nobody should’ve been that good looking but he was.😮
I remember that game. Didn’t want to go. It was a lose lose situation for me. Packer fan at Chicago with a packers win after game attitude or packers fan at Chicago with a loss after game attitude!🤣 Great fan base the bears have but they mind their manners better at Lambeau!😂
Texans were great in 2012, but when they lost their four games in the regular season, they looked BAD. Those were all very decisive losses, not competitive at all.
Never thought about that. So true. This game, the letterman jacket Patriots beatdown, the pathetic showing against the Vikings, and in Indy. All at least double digit losses.
I was there for my bachelor party! Got married following weekend 10/20. My friends flew down from Wisconsin. Out of all the football fans there, without calling or figuring out where to meet up with them, I go through gate, Hi Dale, hi Dawn:) Great game! Houston fans were pretty much dicks until I reminded some that they needed a loss out of division with away games against rams then patriots the following two weeks. Flash forward next season, went to Broncos vs Texans game and dished out the same stuff they did the previous year to me, they went front bullies to victim awfully fast😂
I remember traveling back from Utah on this night absolutely sweating bullets over this game because the Packers were 2-3-0 coming into the game, and were very much in danger of digging themselves into a hole they wouldn’t be able to escape. Once I began seeing the offense explode, I got insanely happy! Little did I think Rodgers was gonna have one of his best games ever that night!
I was at this one wearing a cheesehead lol. I have been watching these games on your channel all weekend. Do you have the Pack @ Bears from 98 by any chance? It was 16-13 Pack. I was at that game too. Thanks for the content!
Best game I ever went to was NFC Divisional round Packers at Dallas! Beautiful job by the whole Packers team, but Georgetown Texas, Mason Crosby was the man that day!
i remember i had season tickets, my father and i showed up to the game, some guy at the entrance of nrg stadium gave us vip tickets to go on the field pre game, we met texans cheerleaders before that, took pictures we ate a buffet and i was so excited to watch my 5-0 Texans steamroll the packers, then aaron rodgers got to cooking… embarrassing

My god the difference between Matthews then and Matthews now is night and day. I know he's much older now, but damn he was a force of nature early in his career.
This was a different time in the NFL. Notice how Houston ran a traditional offense and defense? The Packers played the shotgun, no-huddle to GET Houston into their Nickel defense. The defenses in their base alignment today are with 5 defensive backs. Fullbacks are obsolete in most offenses and spreading out the defense is as important if not more so than running the ball. Clay Matthews was coming off the edge one on one with the Tight End, Fullbacks and Running backs in the traditional off the ball outside linebacker position. When the nickel defense became the base defense, he ultimately became a defensive end, going one on one with left tackles with chipping by the tight end, fullback or running back. He ultimately lost much of his effectiveness when he was no longer playing in the perfect defense for him. He would still fit as a nickel chaser inside linebacker, but not on the Edges. Just look at who the Packers brought in to the Edge. 3 guys who all stand over 6-4 weigh over 260 and can run. It's a defense that needs it's length to set the edge.
Arron Rogers could do things with a football only he could do !!!! Not Tom Brady or any other QB could do what he could do maby Big Ben came close. Poor Matt Schaub his thrown balls looked like lollipops he could take snaps call plays hand off but not to good passing that ball.
