Man.....RE audio brings back the mems. Worked at a shop who completely revolved around RE ne DD back in the 2010s. Lots of good memories.

Man I feel old. You say back in 2010 and it feels like yesterday I was playing with dhd, audiobahn, ppi, lightning audio, the original hifonics gear. Nothing beats old school quality and build.

Talk about old, my first true stereo install was back in the 70's. Pioneer 8 track SuperTuner, four Pioneer 20 watts x 2 amplifiers, three pairs of Pioneer 6x9 2 way speakers and two Pioneer 3way home speakers in my 1974 Ford Econoline. Still one of the best systems ever, for playing 70's Rock 'n Roll!🤘

@ewingaaron1....what a great brand RE Audio was, I'm still running a couple of slot ported boxes with their 8 & 10 inch stamped steel basket subs, they sound incredible! Big question is.....what was the name of their box building software, I honestly thought it was better than anything else at the time!

This is Soo nice to see. I bet it still has original gutz too. I miss when companies gave a lot of detail and craftsmanship to their products. And almost all of them still run true to RMS till this day

At least it did it’s rated power and is the budget model. 👍🏻 There are smaller amplifiers now doing the same power but most are not “Korean” style. On a side-note, “Release The Beast” in my opinion should only be legal to those amplifiers that are more than 1000 watts.

TIP 35c & 36c were very common output chips in a A/B Class amps of the early 2000's . My MA Audio amp had 6 pairs per channel and 4 40amp fuses 😎

I liked the SA 90.4 for compact/minimalist installs. With the ACM-4.300 & SounDigital tho, those are my go-to's these days

oh this brings back memories.. RE was definitely a work horse. I had 6 of the RE 1500.1's pushing 3 18's (don't remember the brand name it was some off the wall unknown name)

Gotta love the ole "List Price" that sites always used. Not sure what list had the amp at $480, but $75-100 seems a lot more reasonable.

Never seen the RE Audio brand in Nz but found it interesting that SMD had 2 18" RE subs so they mustve been pretty good for its time

If I remember right US Amps ended up being bought out by RE audio. But I'd have to double check. I also know they had a library hardware if I remember right. I sure have been out of the game a long time.

Isn't this the company that took over US Amps?I think they were sold through MCM Electronics...or maybe "Parts Express"...typical Korean trek. Decent and reliable, but not special..not.like a US Amps...Another great show big D

Somebody please enlighten me, what is the obsession with Tiffany RCA s? Does it make the amp sound better? Does it increase the current? Does it increase the efficiency? Sorry but I don't see that as a value added item????

They are of higher quality and they bolt onto the amp frame so you don't run the risk of breaking them off the board if you push them on too hard or if they were to get hit by something.
