***** Concrete wtf? A wrestling ring is not made of concrete, is wood combined with more things, but none of them is concrete. How the fuck are you supposed to land properly on concrete?
+Cletus Kasady Most, if not all wrestling rings have 2 steel cross members that are crisscrossed with 2 x 12 wood planks on top covered with 2"-3" padding and then covered with the canvas. Please stop commenting on things you clearly know nothing about.
@@WeirdAlvaro you need to relax and get a life grammar? I think we all know what he was saying and thinking don't be a douchebag your whole life. Grammar??? WTF
That's a good question. When I worked as a ref and ring announcer with a local promotion, I helped to put their ring together many times and not once did we ever screw the plywood down.
Obviously they are being screwed into the wooden beams they laid down last as you can tell by the girl drilling in the distant shot, as she is drilling directly where they are at.
joeriveracomedy the only difference to a modern wretling is the 4 ropes. Some wrestling rings might use a bit more padding. Plenty of videosbout there you can even buy one yourself
Wrestling rings are NOT SOFT dude, it hurts just as if you are being slammed on a wrestling mat, the spring in just a luxury, we don't need it . and there is not trampoline it is solid steel and and wood, it hurts... I should know i am a Wrestler , take my word for it.
First of all, it's a boxing ring. But even in wrestling rings, there are no trampoline parts. It's just plywood and steel, with a little padding. Similar to this, just a little more padding. I've personally been in a wrestling ring before, and it's not soft. It hurts a lot. If you don't land right in the ring it could easily knock the wind out of you. It almost did to me once. Plus, the ropes feel like metal. If you're in a ring like the one I was in, where the ropes were made of metal/wired cable wrapped in garden hose with tape, it hurts a lot. Many ropes are made like this, but some such as the WWE, makes them out of nylon rope with wrapped tape. I'm not sure what this feels like though. Point is, wrestling rings aren't as soft as you may think they are. And there sure isn't any trampoline shit or whatever you had mentioned.
