I have a question. Is there a clip that holds the push open piece closed?

Seems there are multiple models as once open in my model (2017) there is still a cover on top of the battery. Not sure how to open that without breaking it.

yes and mine had tiny springs pop out and new batttery would not stay snapped in. ugh a mess. I had replaced one a year or two ago and it was easy.

Do you have to have it re-synchronized to your car? My battery needs to be replaced but I was told it won’t work after I change it that the dealership has to connect it again
