Your A4 allroad review from a year and a half ago was a big contributor in me pulling the trigger and ordering my 2013 allroad here in the USA. I watched that (and your other) review many, many times. You are 100% correct in your analysis and the car is magnificent! I have had it for over 2 months and enjoy it a lot. Long trips are comfortable and I truly enjoy twisty roads in poor weather in the Pacific NorthWest as this is indeed a solid, planted and dynamic car! Keep up the great work!

Yes, Audi builds some great cars and I hope I will be able to review more of their cars next year. Porsches have always been my dreamcars and Mercedes is doing an amazing job too...We really have some great car-makers here in germany

Another great review! Thank you for not talking about under-steer. I hate it when journalists ruin a Audi Quattro review by going on and on about it. 99% of all people will drive their Quattro in the rain than on a track and that's what's important. Keep up the good work Guido!

Guido, thanks for the quick reply! I ordered mine with the Sports steering wheel plus paddles, agreeing with your choice plus the Leather Sports seats.But decided not to bother with the B & O Music system, as I have allways found Audi's 150watt standard unit is pretty good, so instead put that saving towards the MMI/DVD Technology pack, plus the Xenon/LED Headlight option. The options list can almost double the price of the car, if you ticked every box! Thanks, Andrew

This car looks great, even to this day

German car makers certainly have learnt how to make beautiful, durable cars. Pity we never managed the 'durable' bit here in Britain.

Very nice review! All of the camera angles and editing of the footage continues to look more and more professional. I was really impressed by this review! I agree that the Allroad is a great car, but for me, it's not worth the premium over a standard A4 Avant. The difference in ground clearance between the two is not large enough for me. Thanks, Alex ! On the roads where I test cars, Quattro really works perfectly for me. This A4 Allroad is surprisingly agile and sporty. I actually prefer the suspension setup to the regular A4. And like you said on wet roads, it's traction advantage is really noticeable and gives you tons of confidence. I love this car. Really well made. Greetings, Guido

Well, more traction always makes sense, but when the road is wet, the all-wheel-drive really starts to shine. I drove the car in the rain today and it was really impressive how early you can hit the gas exiting corners

Sounds great, Andrew ! I was just surprised about the low price of the B&O, because normally you would pay twice the money for such a system. I had a very good time driving this car. It delivers a good amount of performance for a daily driver. The traction is really impressive and it corners very well too and it isn't slow either...I really mean it, when I say that I like it

ich finde es immer wieder beeindruckend wie professionell du deine videos machst ! man merkt jedesmal das du viele ideen mit einbaust. mal gucken wann du die ersten Ferraris und Lambos bekommst :-) was mir an diesem video besonders gut gefallen hat, ist die ganze Umgebung ! für mich als gelernten Forstwirt ist es natürlich schön zu sehen das du so wunderschöne Waldstücke genommen hast. Thanks Andrew ! It's my second Allroad review and I really like this car. I like the fact that it is quick on almost any surface.Gives you alot of confidence especially on wet roads. The claimed figures seemed realistic to me and fuel economy was fine too. We messure in liters per 100 kilometers here in germany, and I averaged about 8,5 liter which really good for combined driving and my sporty driving style. Maybe they will. I'm from Portugal and here we see alot 335d and 535d and non 335i and 535i, and this is why I talked about the equivelent engine from Audi. Thank you for answer Cheers mate!!

I guess you like the way Audi builds their cars - so do I. In 40 years of driving I have owned more Porsches and Audis than anything else. I now have a Mercedes for the first time and am very happy with it after 5000 mile from new, especially the auto box which is astoundingly good. But I still long for another Porsche!

This is a good review that accurately states my opinion on the A4 allroad as well. I'¨ll try my best to make an A4 allroad my next car when my allroad A6 gets too tired.

you're right in the allroad, but in the normal A4 would be good and needed to compete with bmw. The A6 allroad has that engine but it has a self leveling suspension that alows you to lower it and it became very stable.

Great review. I am loving my 2013 Allroad. The streets of Los Angeles are pretty bad and the AllRoad makes all those bumps, train tracks and potholes fades away. Quite a change compared to my 2004 VW R32. I am looking forward to ski season to see how the Allroad handles the snow and twisty mountain roads.

Yes, that's how they earn their money...But it also to gives guys like me the chance to check those features out for you. I didn't even mention half of the options on the list. It's small stuff like the alumium trim-pieces, bigger wheels or a leather-covered armrest that add up :)

Der Allroad hat mir echt Spaß gemacht, Marius...Ein perfekter Wagen für jedes Wetter, unglaublich gutmütig zu fahren und trotzdem sehr sportlich. Der bringt seine PS bei jeder Witterung auf die Straßen :) Ein Traum wäre erstmal ein S- oder RS-Modell. Mal schaun ob das irgendwann mal klappt. Danke für den tollen Kommentar ! The thing is that not that many people buy these superfast diesels like a 335d...I helped an american friend to buy a used one here in germany and we had a hard time finding one...They cost so much new that the advantage of saving money from driving a diesel becomes irrelavant...However: Audi has launched the SQ5 with the 313 bhp diesel...Maybe that means that there will be a faster A4 diesel too ?

And that is the 2.0 TFSi. Now imagine the much more torquey performance from one with the 3.0 TDi motor.

Well if I had the chance to buy one I'd buy a 3.0 TDI Quattro. It' a very interesting and pratical vehicle for daily driving. Nice review and good to know that the Allroad will be available on US market, it will be a huge step for this model, specially in canada, they love VAG cars and a 4WD car in the snow, it's the best for them. Awesome review as always.

You're welcome ! Yes it's a very nice car. The Q7 is much bigger and won' t corner as well as the Allroad, but yeah...Audi knows how to build attractive cars :)

Thanks for the positive roadtest! I have just ordered a new A4 Allroad 2.0TFSI S-Tronic. Did you expericence a performance close to the Audi sales brochure? " 0-62mph in 6.8secs, and a combined fuel consumption of 38.7mpg" This acceleration figure is close to the original Audi Quattro UR at 6.5 secs! I test drive one in 1982, and it felt quick as i recall!

No, I haven't which is sad, but I have many friends in the states and hopefully I can visit them one day and do a big drive from east to west :)

Really nice review once again. Congrats. I think that Audi should use the new 3.0 BiTDI 313ps in the A4, especially in the Allroad version. Such a powerfull engine and i think it would suite the car very well. And in the standard A4 it could be a perfect alternative for the people who want an S4 but wants a lot of torque and economy for everyday driving. Like bmw that use to make the 335d (3.0 straight 6 biturbo 286 ps) alternative to the 335i rival of the S4.

Bei 1,94m habe ich das Problem leider häufig, bin aber schon so sehr daran gewohnt, dass es mich nicht mehr stört. Der Audi hat ausziehbare Schenkelauflage, was ich auch gut finde. Und solange ich die Kopfstütze wenigstens nicht im Nacken habe, finde ich das noch akzeptabel

It just started to get cold and rainy once I finished filming. Lucky me :)

Americans and Canadian only get the Allroad and not the A4 Avant. Offoading is not that important to most owners according to the comments on my first review from 2010, which has over 130.000 views. The Allroad is more comfortable than the A4 Avant, but still very sporty. And I think it looks cooler, but that's just my taste.

Thanks ! Yes that would be a good idea, but maybe more than 250 bhp would be too much performance for a car with raised suspension. To me the 211bhp felt just right...and 6,8 from 0-100 and 230 km'h topspeed is enough for most people, I guess :)

Check out the "audi tv commercial" video...that allroad in the video is schweeeet looking!!...but my 2005 stage three allroad is yet to be out done!

Nice review of an awesome car. I can see you are very enthusiastic about doing reviews of cars and the car itself. You try your very best to do quality reviews and it shows! The moving camera like for example at 5:30 is really nice. However I do have some critics. The same 5:30 moment your camera was out of focus which was a shame because the video other than that moment was perfect to me. Also I can see you are taking reviews very seriously but you don't always have to. Put across some jokes and show you are really enthusiastic. I think that will make your reviews even more awesome. Other than that I really liked this review and just subscribed to your channel! Keep up the good work!

Hi Guido. I think I told you previously I have an A4 allroad 2013, my brother is weighing up between an A4 allroad and an A6 allroad. Would you ever have an opportunity to review the A6 allroad? He like me finds your reviews the most informative.

The allroad has higher ground clearance than the A4. It has a wider track (distance between wheels on the same axle). I'd say it's very capable on snowy and muddy slopes. Somewhere in RU-vid there's a video of an Audi A6 allroad successfully driving up a snowy slalom slope whereas a Volvo XC70 and even a Land Rover Discovery fails to do it. So the allroads are very capable indeed.

Kann man so sehen, aber der A4 läuft ja auch eher unter Livestyle-Kombi als unter Lastesel. Fürs Grobe kauft man wohl eher einen Passat, aber im Vergleich zu BMW 3er, C-Klass und vorallem dem winzigen Volvo V60, finde ich das Raumangebot absolut okay. Grüsse, TheGetawayer

Ein geiles Auto solange man vorne sitzt. Der A4 ist ein Blender in meinen Augen. Sieht gut aus, in einem Kombi erwartet man aber mehr Platz.

Ich weiß nicht aber für mich passt ein Diesel besser zum Charakter vom Allroad...

This car goes like a rocket but I have to say that it is the least fuel efficient machine Ive ever bought. Horrible gas and OIL consumption. What a shame AUDI.
