See my 2007 BMW 650i Review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dCU1YpeaFnw.html Finally drove a long time dream car of mine. Not a dream of mine to own anymore but still cool that I got to drive it, but do you agree that this is the best looking BMW? Leave your thoughts below. I have a 2017 Competition, just hit 50k miles and have had zero issues or check engines. I also somewhat baby her and do oil changes every 5k miles. Have intakes, downpipes and tune. Made 730hp ❤️
The m8 is the one car I think that has come out recently that has truly been beautiful imo. The m6, M2, and m8 are my favs of recent years but the m8 is personally my favorite.
I have 2014 M6 grand coupe. I brought it with 13k miles in 2015. I still have it and love it. 45k miles on it. Just had to replace gas pedal after 3 years using a sprint booster mod. No other problems yet
I wholeheartedly agree. These are the best looking BMWs ever. I own 650i coupe and like it so much, that am getting 2018 M6 GC. Great balance of sport and luxury. It is gorgeous and tons of fun with both, SMG and a 6 speed manual. But with the manual, it is something else!
Same here, I had an absolute passion for the BMW M6 and 6 Series versions, I still like the Deep Sea Blue with Ivory White interior, saw a 640i a few days ago, I was obsessed with it there for a while, but still admire it now.
My last car was a 2009 M6 manual I owned and raced for a long time. 1) That engine sounded like nothing else. 2) I have never driven a car that felt so stable at 100-150mph. 3) The steering, while numb, tracked perfectly at those speeds. Can't describe it. 4) Turn in also was incredible. 5) Loved the looks. Rest of car was OK and warranty ran out which is why I sold it. Averaged 11-13 mpg. Depreciated more than my Mustang cost. Lol.
Once again thanks for the awesome conment and for sharing your experiences great to know! New Mustang will definitely last you longer than the old M6 but glad you owned that beast
I'd gladly still take the m6 over the mustang any day of the week cuz you'll never get another naturally aspirated V10 like that again. I'm about to pick up my second 2013 M6. I also had a 2009 unfortunately I did not have the manual though, but by far the funnest car I've ever had, if you're willing to maintain the car properly these cars serve well. I agree with you on the stability as well! smooth as butter! With the right wheel and suspension setup with these cars the sky is the limit in my own personal experience.
Yeah I had a crush on this car for awhile too. Could afford a used one now but scared of the reliability issues. Been doing research on the 650i though and heard its alot better of a daily driver. Hopefully you can get your hands on one to review soon.
Yes a 650i would not only be cheaper but a better daily however I would not be afraid of an M6 with a warranty because you would still have to get a warranty on a 650i anyway
well said. BMW M6s are the best looking sedans in the world and of our time. The proportions are just perfect. I would go for the M6 over M8 anyday. The car still has road presence unlike the M8 coupe that has just disappeared under the m2 and M4.
I don't care what anyone says the m6 is the best BMW they built. This is in my own opinion of course so let's not get into a debate everybody is entitled to their own preference. It's a shame that BMW did away with the six series and the m6 in general, if you know BMWs you would have known then that they were actually one of the more reliable BMWs that you could actually buy. Now of course you have your idiot owners who don't take care of them and give them the bad reputation that they've gained, but if you're true enthusiasts such as myself and are willing to maintain the car properly the m6 is arguably one of the best sports cars you can buy for the money. For a car that you can pick up for only around 32 to 35,000 now you are getting a hell of a car for that money. I will always love the m6, awesome video brother this information was really good!! I'm looking at picking up my second 2013 M6 this week. Sold my last one to do to financial issues at the time of owning it and it's been miserable. God is thankfully blessed me with a job this year and I am now able to go forward with buying another one and I cannot wait!!!! #bmw4life #f11M6
@@troypatillo1688 just picked a 2015 yesterday!! Gran coupe! My wife is worried I'm gunna leave her for the car 😭😂!! I ordered catless Dp, intake, charge pipe 10in intercooler, and dinan free flow for it as well as irainium sparks, and ordered mhd for it. Siked to get it put together! Such a solid car! 🙏🏼🤙🏼
@@carsoncolemanbm4 I hear you. I’ve had a 2014 for 6 years. Due to emissions I can’t get DO. I just have a dinan stage 2 tune. Warranty is good until 2025 but I can’t see selling it. Yours will be an absolute beast when your done!
@@troypatillo1688 it's crazy how they make a lot of power quick with not a lot of money. It's nice working with over 600 horsepower though too to help start. I love dinan products. That was my other thoughts to do a full dinan build on it. I love it I've only had it for a couple days it's addicting to just go drive.
I’ve binged watched for the longest time without subscribing & have finally caved today and subbed officially! I love your Lexus reviews and your thoughts on other brands! I’d love to see your take on large full size SUV’s from the big 3, old Durango, Chrysler aspen, Ford Expedition and other truck based SUV’s.
Humbled you've been supporting so long my friend thanks so much for subscribing! And yes I def want to do some more truck based SUVs. I just recently posted the QX80 Infiniti and I would like to do a Durango and Lexus LX570. Thanks again for everything
Exhaust Sports Auto I enjoyed the QX80 review, most thorough one I’ve seen yet. Your ‘05 LS review was phenomenally well done as well. Sorry for not subscribing earlier! Keep up the amazing content
I'm going later on today to look at this exact car same year same model same color same interior color and the one I'm looking at has 70,000 miles and is still under warranty until 2023. I'm glad I found your video it actually answered some of the questions I was having about the car. That's the whole reason why I did a Google search in the first place was to look for some answers. Great video thank you for sharing your information and knowledge of this car.
I own a San Marino Blue one of these…and you’re right, they STILL have the best and most captivatingly balanced design from any of the BMW lineup…even at 9yrs old. They just refuse get lost in a sea of mediocrity and people notice…. Also, the carbon roof is to maintain a lower center of gravity
"DYNOMITE"...That would be on my license plate....A Classic Beauty for time indefinitely & ty for schooln' me on the difference between the 2 & the 4 door Bimmers, Coupe' & the Grand Coupe'....Keep Um Coming Kevin, Luv These Vintage Prestigious Auto Vids, it seems to be your niche ....CHEERS!
Haha yea I agree sir this car definitely feels timeless. Yea my access to new cars is limited so If I can find cool used cars I will def make sure to cover it!
Extern warranty here it's costly:) I've been owning many M cars and now m6 F13 2013 . 5 year's now with 0 issue .My x6m had the biggest problem. Engine Broke down becuse defect oil pump.. Lucky me it was only after 3 Month owner ship and the shop took it back and gave me olmost all my money back. M3 E46 M5 E34 M6 E63 V10, M5 E39 V8 Very small problem to be honest
There's a local guy selling a babied/pampered 27k mile M6 with about 50 grand in aftermarket parts, and he's selling the car for 63k... Really, really tempted
You seem to like the coupes! I am not into bmws but I’ve always like the design of the 6 series and now I like the current 8 series . Wouldn’t get them due to their reliability but they are certainly fun to drive and to look at.
yeah...park can be tricky. keep it in drive, foot on the brake, parking brake on. Then foot off the brake, and hit start/stop button. If the door is open while doing this, M6 will go off, but will be in neutral, then hit the start/stop button to manually change to park. --easy
Get a well maintained high mileage 2012-2014 M6 and you’ll find it for the same price range if not cheaper than a 2018 640i. Plus like the video said you can get a warranty so reliability won’t bother you’re sleep 😂
I think my favourite looking BMW's ATM would have to be the 20/21 seven series and the newest 8 series, that being said I nearly bought a 6 series so I can't diss on them!
There are a few Bimmers that aged well and this is definitely one!!! An exhaust would wake that engine up. Are you going to review the RS5 coupe at Capital Mazda?
What’s the best warranty or who offers the best warranty for the m6 that is out of BMW warranty? Does BMW offer a warranty for it that you can purchase?
There is a M6 GC in red in my neighborhood. Catches my eye every time I see it. Great looking car, but not sure I can say my favorite or their best design. I look back to the shark nose coupes from the 80’s that I find a sleek and beautiful design.
Gonna have to Google that but yes even aside from the looks idk M BMWs are just too intense for street driving and they are not race cars either. The LC is a strange car but it is tuned perfectly to have fun on the street
Just wanted to let you know where I was coming from with the sound. Turbos muffle the noise and end up not sounding as ridiculous as people may think it does
Great review thanks!. Thinking about picking up a 2015 M6. But I'm not really handy mechanic-wise. Would it be a bad bet, would I spend too much on maintenance costs?
That's probably because people have zero idea how a car is meant to behave in everyday street driving. If you think it's normal for a car to be churning out 3,000 rpms in 45 mph driving with a jittery ride and jerky transmission then sure put it in your little "sport mode" it's all B.S that's the reality
lol so I used to have an E64 M6 Convertible and I loved that thing. I've been looking into an F12 and I think it also is the best looking BMW still. The 8 series is overdesigned and the 4 just has that ugly front end now.
Oh yes the V10 one yea I havent driven it but I would probably agree with you on that even the 650 was amazing of that generation, this new one is just too ridiculous and extra for no apparent reason I can't really enjoy it on the road
Your M6 looks great bro, but in my opinion the best looking BMW is the E30 Evo, my dad had one before i was born but sold it off to pay the bills when they had me. Been my dream to get one for my dad since i saw pictures and home vedios of it from the time he had it, i feel like i owe it to him. But your M6 does look amazing!
I own the 2013 grand coupe and I want to warn people out there if you thinking about buying this car first of all even with a warranty it’s not a car for everyone first of all if you thinking about driving it everyday forget about it if don’t have lots of cash to spare forget about it it’s a mechanical nightmare and mine has 64000 miles on it
No I don't think these will ever go up in Value because these twin turbo V8 cars are a dime a dozen and they put these motors in everything nothing special and these are computers on wheels. E46 and E92 are very special motors that offered a more analog feel, E92 less so which is why it's not worth as much as a clean E46 but it will be worth something because its an NA V8 not a twin turbo like all these new German cars. Gran coupe is a 4 seater and doesn't have much room in the back something to look at, but a 650i with a warranty is a satisfying street car and M6 can be too
dude holly fuck!!!!!!!!! Love that car!!!!!! my dream as well. I have a bright red 2015 X4 35i M sport. is this car reliable? what engine? Thanks! s55?
This is my car, I purchased it from Cary Imports. It's heavily modified now with different wheels, carbon fiber, suspension, exhaust, tune etc currently makes over 700hp. Let me know if you ever want to review it again! I'm in New York
Thank you Kevin. Great overview. I would take your LC 500 over this M6 anytime of the day. I spent the last 20 years paying off my school debt, but I'll be damned before I put money into this (i.e. the M6) money pit. Ravi Peiris M.D.
Yea I was just saying how happy I was that it was not over tired but once I put everything in sport plus man idk if 305s in the rear will be enough lol
