2013 Bonaventure River Canoe Trip, Shooting The Narrows 

Wow, it's so refreshing to see YOUNG people who are proficient in canoes (picking their lines, controlling their pace, and all that stuff). I've been seriously into canoeing for almost twenty years and among the couple of hundred canoers I've paddled with in that time, only one of them was a young guy (about 30). All the others have been in their 50s to 70s, with most (like myself) in their 60s. And I'm not talking about folks who rent canoes and go beer-drinking on some easy river or folks who think they are good on account of having some meager ability to maneuver using bad technique, but folks who actually know how to paddle. Good for you guys, and that looks like a great river!
