What is up everyone!! Very excited for this video as we are Tasked with Transforming a 2013 Camaro SS back to life! This Camaro has the WORST paint I have had to tackle!!! Can we do it!!??? Lets find out! I take you through my process with Products, Tool, and tips. Throughout the process I will provide updates to along the way! I know this video is a LONG video, however I wanted to make an educational style video in hopes to help anyone who wants to tackle a job like this. I really like that you don’t do crazy stuff wet sanding or extra coarse cutting compounds chasing perfection. Much better to have a car with really good looking paint that’s not going to fail later. Love your content always!!

John exactly man! Don't get me wrong, wet sanding is actually less abuse on the paint however didn't need it here. Like you said, no extra gritty heavy cutting compounds here. I mainly wet sand for isolated scratches 🤙🤙 Appreciate your support man! Really means a lot! ✊️🤙

I didn't miss 1 minute of this video. No way. What a cool turnaround. I have to say I just love your excitement and passion while doing the video during polish. I was getting excited right along with you. Couldn't wait to see the results. Those deep scratches were probably bothering you, but it was good for me to see you stay away from going deep on them. That helps me. I can imagine paint getting older shouldn't be polished too hard with clearcoat getting trashed. Did you use the ceramic cubes on the hood scoop? How'd it look? Very very impressive turn around. Black is tougher, but the reward is astonishing. Super one Smurf! Give whole family huge hugs!

Man you killed this one from the content to the car. Great step by step tutorial , products and tools were used . Really great video and I can only imagine how excited the owner was 👍. Glad you didn’t go for all the deep scratches. I would love to on my daily but the clear coat is more important than some scratches.

You did Awesome.... came out GREAT. I did a similar job on a subaru legacy, and for the deeper scratch , i wetsanded with 1500 and polished it out after. saved me tons of time and most scratches came out. But that camaro was trashed.. only so much one can do to remove deeper scratches! Kudos to a job well done !

Hahah thanks Tom!!! Try to make it fun while people watch! Ummm soooo.. I recieved on a Saturday... Worked on it all day Sunday and Monday.. then every night after work the entire week lol. Tuesday I was up till 2am... Wednesday was up till 2am... Thursday night was when I started coating it and was up till 430 am applying the coating... mainly cause it was so cold flash times were getting longer as the temp got colder LOL needless to say... I had the car for about 8 days.

I’ll tell you what some people shy away from doing black paint but for me it’s my favorite! Them end results are so satisfying with black paint I love it, Man That Camaro was shot bro your really did it Justice to say the least, it looked almost dark charcoal more then black until you laid down the Papa cut that thing got darker by about ten shades 😂😂 your friend’s reaction and seeing it after Titan would of been so dope but I get it bro sometimes things just don’t align but man awesome ,awesome job bro 🔥🔥

Those years GM black was one of the worse paints I have ever seen. I took care of my paint and still had issues plus it’s been garaged from day one. I’m actually doing my second detail since 2011. Nice job as I actually thought my car was bad till I saw this video, but we all know they used really soft paint

Thanks brother! So, as far as how to prevent. Have a box that you can keep your vehicle in that's constantly filtered lol. It's almost impossible my friend. However, you can use a detail spay that has anti static properties to help reduce dust attraction... something I know that has it is the P&S showroom shine and the new Turtlewax Pure Shine misting detailer. 👍👍👍👍

WOW.HUGE turn around. Great picks 4 products. Never need 2 apologize 2 ur real smurf family. Not liking the fact u used koch chemie over Phoenix EOD. Yes I know Phoenix EOD doesn't a AIO but use either papa cut and fabulous finish add glawsome wax and BAM. That's the only AIO I prefer but that's my opinion..fantastic results brother

New subscriber here! Amazing end results! I have a black Camaro ss that looks just like that and wanting to polish this summer Do you think a 15mm DA will still finish well with a white pad? Trying to get it done with just the 15mm even tho that might be tricky with all the small areas

Hey Cody! Thanks for subscribing to the channel! Yes, absolutely it should finish down just fine. No 2 paints are the same however I'd bet it on the medium to harder side. You will usually run into issues finishing with a linger throw on softer more finicky paint 👍👍👍 but having a smaller polisher comes in handy. My Flex pxe80 is a 12mm throw and finished great as well. Thanks man! Appreciate that! I mean, to be honest, the same reason anyone else uses different compounds and polishes.. there isn't a rule you HAVE to use Rupes, or Sonax... I have them. I've used them. Sure, they are good. But, so are the PhoenixEOD products.. and to be honest I'd get the same results... which is what we're all after. Doesn't matter how ya get there. Plus, what would using a more aggressive compound get me if I'm trying to stay safe? You know? 🤷‍♂️ I feel the results are by far remarkable granted where the vehicle started. 👍👍👍 all in all, it's just a preference why I decided to go with Papacut and FAB polish. They are a fantastic 1-2 combo... have you have the chance to use them???

Rotary polisher, Soft wool pad, WAAAY quicker process. 3M one step, Check the gloss, maybe one more final step with finish polish, then done, Results, Same or most likely Better. Much quicker process and also much easier. I used to own a detail shop but then I Joined the Air Force. I still love to detail cars though.

Dramatic turn around,nice job. Its a shame with all the deep scratches and water spot etching, a guy could have brought it back to a 9. Now its a six footer. nice till you get up close. I wonder if the turtle wax black acrylic polish would have hid some of the imperfections. I know extreme solutions black diamond paste wax can work miracles but you need to seal it with there magnum acrylic wax for longevity. Great tutorial for people wanting to learn paint correction, and a damn fine job.

Thanks William! Definitely a huge turnaround! Kills me to know there are deeper scratches.. and some areas I did go back too, like the hood and that pile of deep scratches. All in all it turned out phenomenal... Even up close in some sun it looks great! 👌 That Turtlewax black polish would absolutely fill in some scratches and was an option but he wanted a coating. Xtreme Solutions lvr403 would be another good one to help fill in and cure... the coat over. 🤔 Completely forgot about that one! Jiat didnt want to cover rathe leave whats there as he didnt think it was salvageable LOL well hahaha, thing absolutely glistened in the sun😁.. my goal was to help encourage those who want to do exactly that, get into paint correction and polishing.. tackle a job similar to this. 🤙👍 Really appreciate the input and you taking the time to watch! 🤝✊️

Absolutely can use Hydra as a clay Lube! Glass cleaner, rinseless wash, waterless wash, I even put a cap in my windshield washer sprayers in my car... I use it in my Steamer too lol. Absolutely love it!
