zr1 is actually nice inside. dash and doors are all wrapped in leather with some nice grey stitching. only thing lacking is the steering wheel, but you can order some nice swede wrapped ones that are much nicer then stock from gm.

I'm glad I'm not only one realizing this. I mean I love muscle cars, I love that their about bucking the trend of paying six figures for hp/tq and putting that power into everyones hands. But today's muscle cars don't really buck the trend anymore. Instead they just keep raising in price. :(

@DJEddieXZ The Corvette has so much plastic even Barbie is jealous. Cheap plastic EVERYWHERE in the Corvette. hell the ZR1 is the worst I've ever seen and how much is that again? With GM, a higher price doesn't mean a better grade of materials as we have learned time after time. that point being proven in this video also.

I like the newer mustangs better & what you say is true.The camaro may be much better when it switches to the smaller platform saving weight & making it smaller.The camaro is a huge car.The interior of the camaro isn't that nice in my opinion although the heads-up display is nice.This is coming from a previous camaro owner(1998 z28)

I wonder how many Mustangs are traded in within the first couple of years. Only using "higher sales volume" to reflect what people like is not a sound basis. I'd like to factor in things like ownership surveys, resale values, cost of ownership, etc. I'm neither a Chevy or Ford person but it looks like the best iterations of both the Mustang and Camaro are the Boss and this ZL1.

I wouldn't buy an V6 or SS coupe. Not for power reasons though. The ZL1 vert is hands down the best looking 5th gen. Top down it looks less chunky and visbility is better. That is has a lot of power is great but the suspension upgrades are the best. Ford has nothing like GM's MRC setup.

What are YOU talking about?? The corvette has better interior trim pieces than the camero and is not the same car from way back when it had shiny cheap hard plastic everywhere...

60,000 for a car that's almost as fast as the 120 000 corvette that's one of the fastest cars under 500 000 that is a pretty good deal and you can get the ground effects painted I think so who cares if the side skirts are plastic

65 grand is far from the common mans reach, with that said i totally agree with the concept of what you are saying. With the this model being the exception. the Camaro is blue collar American muscle.

Mustang fanboy spotted. Camaro can turn, compared to a Mustang which can't. Come back in 2015 when Ford will replace the antique live rear axle with independent suspension.

These things are so overpriced,I got my ford mustang gt,got a roush supercharger and exhaust to 625 hp and and a suspension kit for a little under 50k,and the sound system is way better

Hi, Billy! What's up? I talked to GM about it...I was actually invited to the media event at Monticello before the NY Auto Show but rain washed it out. We decided that there was no point in testing it off the track...it's not for any other purpose. So if a track day comes up again, maybe. But otherwise no plans for a regular Drive Time segment.

Except you have sintered connecting rods like a 1987 Ford escort, they are so weak and heavy, Mustang GT engine can;t be balances internally, not enough room for the counter balance But a Camaro comes with Drop Forged & ball Penn Forged rods Technology Ford has to order from Manley catalog just to build a BOSS engine
