I just went to a mechanic to have this done as when I tried laying down, I couldn’t get enough power to loosen. He then said he couldnt do it as he wasn’t able to get the bolt out when he undid it because the shock is pushing down on the outside element of the nut? He went on to say that even if you did get the bolt out (by smacking it), getting it all lined back up again would be a nightmare? Any idea. Mine is a 2011
It's just a nut and bolt should come straight off. It might be tight but should come off. Just give it some. If you are local next to hyde Cheshire let me know I'll do it for you
@@TEAMR4ULTV nah man was all good. I got dirty and proved my mechanic wrong. Cheers for the help man, easy job. I would say, mechanic initially cracked my bolts, couldn’t get enough leverage lying down.. this is a standing job
