The CLS W218 is a great car as long as you take good care of it. This is not an AMG model and MB never produced a 55 on this platform (218) and I recommend modifying it to a 550 and not putting the AMG badge on it. Keep it as is or people will make fun of you. In general, AMG models perform better than non-AMG models for both engines and transmissions. AMG=Performance
55 does not mean supercharged. they still make sl55's today this day which are bi-turbo now. The first 55 amg was a 5.4 liter N/A v8, although the most popular and notable 55 models came with 5.4L supercharged v8 named the m113k. 55 originally just meant the displacement of the engine which was 5.4 rounded up to 55. Just like how the original 63 AMG's were 6.2L

I want to buy the amg tips but for that I have to buy a new diffuser as well, it’s gonna come eventually but yeah definitely buy these quad tips from Ali express, it will change up the look of ur car.
It’s reliable bro but there are common leaks that happen after 100k miles, I messed up and bought a car which wasn’t really taken care of, I had to buy tires, brakes, radiator started leaking because I decided to drift and besides that the gas is expensive bro, with the oil leaks that tend to happen which are expensive
@@MrReddyy that’s not too bad and I’ve also heard about the air suspension problems , as long as it dosent have sny thing like transmission issues or head gaskets being blown I think it’s pretty solid, only thing I’m rlly worried about is gas 😭😭 that v8 definitely hogs gas
@@Blizzyonb honestly bro it really depends on how you drive it, if you don’t accelerate fast from red lights and don’t send it as often you’ll be getting about 18-21 mpg but if you step on it bro you’ll barely be getting 10-11 mpg so really it just depends on how you drive but yea it eats gas

Dude there is soooooo much more to an actual AMG then more horses…. Google the amg vs the base model. Handling and brakes are both upgraded also on the amg.
@@MrReddyyyou keep justifying your car being an amg by power only... you have not stated anything else. When we keep telling you that it is more than just the power. I have ACTUALLY driven both (test drives and Turo). Besides the technology, the two are not the same lol
