I could not turn 2 side bolts if I followed the above video. Could you tell me what did you do to remove and put back in those 2 side bolts? thanks.

@@thangnguyen-tf4yo the ball end let’s you spin the bolts at an angle. Just be careful not to strip them.

For a windshield a lot of work for sure. Very satisfying.

Are you talking about the gas cap mount? I’ve never removed that.

@@MacrossGarage I think that is where the water pump is located. It is on the right side. When i tried the 17mm it is a bit loose. I do not think 17mm is the real one for it.

Try a bigger size. Sorry I no longer have this motorcycle to try.

@@MacrossGarage You got rid of it at what mileage? I tried 17mm it is a bit big. I tried 16mm it is a bit small. I think 16.5 mm is the best but I have not been able to find 16.5mm. Please tell me if you know where I can get it. thanks.

It’s possible. You probably have to slide it towards you a little bit instead of just up. I didn’t not think of that and didn’t try it. Worth a try if you’re going to attempt this. Let us know if you try it.

any updates?? I do not want to get those two bolts hahah

@@FentLacer I ended up removing the front fairing to get at the bolts. I got them out but could not get them back in.

That bolt is the hardest part of the install. If I remember correctly you will need to go at it with a slight angle.

@@MacrossGarage Thanks for your reply. A buddy helped me out. In the end we placed a screw driver under the plastic section that contains the screw hole and wedged it upwards while pulling back quite hard on the bike's plastic section that the windshield fits in. By doing this we were able to put the screw pretty much straight into the hole. Worked out in the end.

@@MacrossGarage There is a metal piece and bar running in front across of the bolts from side to side. Then how could you insert the hexa key straight into the bolts to turn them loose or tight? Thanks for your help.

@@thangnguyen-tf4yo it’s tricky but the ball end of the tool lets you angle a little bit. But careful not to strip it. Tune it slow at first. Once you get it to bit and turn a little the bolt will spin with the tool with more angle. Hope that makes sense.

i used allen hexa key but I do not know its size, could you tell me the size of this allen hexa key? Thank you.
