I'm in the Process of installing 240 Mil in my Jeep now. Deadening works. I did 160 Mil in my Impala and had very small amounts of rattle and my music sounded way better.
Connor Francis I thought it was fun to do, but it made no noticeable difference. The GC is built pretty solid, so I don’t recommend it unless you plan on dropping some serious base.
I was am impressed that the Jeep Grand Cherokee had sound deadening already installed. Also, the welds runs were perfectly placed to help reduce noise. Pulling off the interior door panels to apply a bit of sound proofing likely did nothing compared to whatever was already there. It was fun anyway, and we learn as we do. right?
