My husband just bought me a 2013 MKZ, and I love this feature. It honestly takes me a minute to get used to all the simplicity. I love all the simplicity and the sleek extras. I bought 3 Pashmina's to keep in the car, so that when I drive my mother in Law, or my grandaughter in her carseat, we all have a light 'blankie', that are pretty, soft. I like to put one around each headrest sometimes, or in the side pockets. I have to take my Mother in Law to the Dr's quite often, and everything about this car makes the ride so much more pleasant. I found Sirius XM Chill, I put that on, and hand them each a shawl for the breezy AC, and they feel special.
@@Tuxedkangaroowhips Did you have the 2013 Lincoln MkZ hybrid ? I’m trying to get this exact one hybrid but I don’t know if 2013 has its ambient lighting????
Youd have to take your gloves off every time though, and it likely only works with clean fingers, free of debris... I loge the car, but those touch buttons look awful
I absolutely do agree I had a instance with this car where my hands had oil on them and I couldn’t mess with it at all it just didn’t register it but it is a really cool unique feature that could be useful especially if you usually aren’t having work hands
I have issue with my dashboard to put heat like the lights go on and off immediately when I start the car or plug out the battery Im pissed i hope someone can help I dont have heat no more and I live In Canada
@@seabassisagod it had 46 k when I got mine , I think its is better to look for cars with 40 to 60k , that why you can have it longer . it is a great buy , you can do everything with your key pod, you can even open and close your windows from the key pod in your house and the mkz has lights. I have another video of me driving it .
@@TweetieAshton the only thing I’m kind of worried about from buying it is people said that the touch controls are a little iffy sometimes, for example, the volume but they want 9945 and it has exactly 100k miles. So doesn’t seem to bad. And also is there anything for Bluetooth or would I need an adapter
