This is live footage of a 2013 Mercedes Benz dying on I-95 near Boca Raton FL. If this happens, you can turn everything off, restart the engine, and it should drive for a little while before doing it again. When this happens, put it in neutral and coast to a shopping center where you can park. Get off the expressway because tow truck drivers will not rescue you there. AAA called 20 tow truck companies and none would come out. That's when I re-started the car and drove it off the expressway.

Hi, yesterday i had the same problem in my w212. My 7G tronic let me only drived into 2 gear. Safe mode I've notice. But ive notice also a motor warning advertice clamp in my w212 visor. I can see it, i mean the motor clamp warning on. Probably someone in the past turned off, and by that did made it is impossible to goes on. But the sintomas are there. Safe mode driving. Thanks for your share.

Thanks for responding. Today I dropped off the car at MB of Delray Beach FL. I e-mailed this video to the service advisor and he will show it to the tech. They know the HPFP is covered under warranty. A month ago we had the front right wheel sensor replaced. For that the EBS lights came on and we got a code. The local mechanic said this can shut down the car.

@@kushdaniel846 I finally got an answer from the dealer. They said the low pressure send unit is bad, which is located in the fuel tank. They don't automatically replace the HPFP unless it's bad. I'm going to get the car back and take it to local mechanic Merc-Werks in Pomapno Beach FL.

Hello, this issue has reached another MB owner! I recently had new wheels put on my car but didn’t replace the TPMS sensors and have the tire pressure light on could this be why my car won’t exceed 2k rpm ?

Or was it just the fuel pump that was the problem?
