Not this one sonny. If you actually bothered to read and listen to the various tests of the F3 800 you'll find them much improved. Not only that but the F3 800 has a much more agile and responsive chassis than the dated Gixer 750. The MV also looks a million dollars and sounds utterly fantastic.
I know, I am having the same problem. Both bikes are beautiful. From what I have seen and read the F3 800 will probably be better and quicker around a race track than the Duc, GSXR 750 and 675R. On the road we will have to wait for a comparison test. I suspect the GSXR and 675R will be easier and more compliant on the road. The throttle and fuelling on the F3 800 seems to be alot better than on other MV's so that is a positive. It should come with a steering damper as standard though.
maybe, but the MV has modern electronics. Look at GSXR, no TC and not even a quick shifter (not to mention ABS or wheelie control). In Motorcycle years the GSXR is stone age. I own a MV Agusta F4 750 (2nd bike). The bike is 12 years old and still running. In terms of speed, the GSXR 750 has around 135 hp at the crank and I dont think thats enough to "kill" the the f3 800.
A friend has just got one of these-beautiful piece of engineering, still prefer the Benelli tornado he had a few years ago though..as a non biker I just like pretty engineering.
