It's not only for hauling horse trailers! These type trucks are also used on the racing circuits with 5th wheel trailers hauling race cars along with there mechanical shop and supplies right on the trailer. Which could also be a double deck trailer for hauling multiple vehicles.
You guys seem very excited about this new cab system! I have never seen anything before that has this level of quality. Truly a custom coach. Head and shoulders above a stock Sport Chassis. Too bad I don't have the scratch for it I'm sure. For now I'm going to just cobble a pickup bed on a 379 pete from the 80's and throw caution to the wind. I know I deserve this new Ultra Crew Cab but for a while it will be nice to grit it out in an old Shake box.
Typically an automatic is more appealing for a less qualified driver to competently operate the vehicle. I have a hunch that this is an Allison B400 or B500 transmission which is tougher than nails and are not likely to fail. The efficiency of the Allison automatics in comparison to a manual transmission or a manual automated vary across the board and although they may be slightly less efficient than manual transmission, they are far smoother to operate.
you guys ever see the pics of the kenworth t2000 pilgrimage everyone joked about as the new super suv? i would love for you guys to build one! i know id buy it without even batting an eye!
Very nice truck but it sure seems the guys doing the video were not well versed on a Peterbilt! Really stuck on the compartments and luxury seats, don't be afraid to say if they are leather or not.
I'd like to know the bottom line price as she sits Rig + Custom work. Love it! Sell my car to owe this... Heck people at work would schitt a brick if I drove this in everyday. Make this my family car and never bat and eye about it.
