This is a friend's truck I'm just trying different mufflers on. I love the power and miss my cammed days but too big of a truck for me. I'm putting a 6.2L in my new RCSB next.
This truck currently has stock stall and is driven daily. I recommend a stall though as this is a little big for stock. There is some surge and pushing through the brakes at times no matter what you do so it really needs a stall but can be used stock if needed.
definitely be happier with a stall one of my trucks (12 2500 has a summit 2800 stalls at 2500 in the 2500.) my tahoe has a 6.2l with a circle d 2200 and both are much better than the stock converter.
