Cy - very slight lift into 13. It can be done FLAT with zero brake, and I have done it that way several times in Spec Miata, but it is hairy and it appears that everything I gain on entry I lose on exit up the hill. Regarding T1, yes light brake to set the nose. Both T7 and T8 require braking. T8 once again is to make sure you have all the weight on the outside front tire on turn-in and keep it up against the apex - there is a dip there that helps rotate the car. Missing it by a tire's width really compromises the exit speed.
@@cypritchard2311 Both of us had to take extra caution going into the hairpin, not knowing what the lapper was going to do. Standard precautions when coming up fast on lappers. I just outbreaked Cliffie, and was still able to get it slowed without going into the lapper, who did turn in, as expected.
