What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Land Cruiser: For 2013 the Land Cruiser gets minor updates. Ahh! The Land Cruiser and the big daddy of the Toyota brand with all of Toyota's super fantastic quality and off road capabilities. This is what most commonly comes to mind when someone thinks of the Land Cruiser, this big large SUV is powered by a 5.7 L V8 with EPA estimates of 13 City and 18 HWY. Does this provide enough towing capabilities? Well if you think 8500 lbs is enough then yes. The interior is very Lexus like and if Toyota would just slap a Lexus badge on the Land Cruiser we wouldn't even know the difference. The Big daddy Toyota does come at a hefty price however, our tester was about $80,000 which you might as well get the Land Cruiser's cousin the Lexus LX which are very identical in terms of styling and features. So is the Land Cruiser worth it? Well if your in the market for a traditional luxury SUV then maybe, but for die hard enthusiasts you won't be disappointed. Remember to check out the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and the Infiniti QX56 reviews as they are competitors to the Land Cruiser.
