I knew the Seahawks were gonna win the Superbowl when this beatdown happened... This game and the game against the Saints later in the year during the regular season is when I knew this team was different
It added another 600 dollars to the typical food/beverage bill we get near the end of the game. 4 wives were in my peer's luxury suite and they were hitting the mixed foofoo stuff. We got messed up so it was a blast in the 2nd half
Russell Wilson introduction on NBC always cracks me up it is usually either,"Russell Wilson im a whole pack of badness." Or, "Russell Wilson from a pack of badgers."
I was at this game, it never really seemed like it was stopped, it felt like a great social opportunity to intake more alcohol, I often get access to the company Luxury suite and on this night a group of 13 ate and drank over 1000 dollars worth. It sure made the second half a lot of fun.
Wilson getting paid is what prevented the Seahawks from making any more Superbowls. But, as special as 2013 was, 2022 was a huge breath of fresh air, and has made me more excited for the Seahawks than I have been in a very long time.
They did what they could and Russ should have structured his contract accordingly. Keep in mind the Seahawks had winning seasons until 2021, went to the playoffs all but 2 years in the Wilson era with wins in most of those. Most teams cannot say that.
Clemons, Avril, Bennet, Wright, Bryant, Mebane, Irvin, Smith, and Wagner and that's not including their secondary, which IS and WAS the best secondary unit EVER on a football team and there isn't a close second either.
ive never seen a team completely shut down like how this seahawks defense dominated the niners offense. I mean ive seen less yardage given up with that record setting ravens defense in 2000 but the 49ers looked miserable out there cause it seemed like it took a miraculous play to gain 8 yards lol

This game shown everybody that Harbaugh didn't know how to evaluate talent 89 and 25 for the Seahawks was pretty good players and he let the enemy get them both .
Kaepernick was a good player but he definitely played bettering with better players around him. The thing I didn’t like about him was that he’s inconsistent and he couldn’t do shit against that Defense
49ers ended up being the second best team that year (Seahawks-49ers was the real SB) and the Seahawks still demolished them in a matchup. Seahawks just had a dominant run that year.
That Hawks front 7 made a great secondary devastating. Avril, Bennett, Mebane, Bryant , Wagner, Wright and Irvin. If the 9ers front was better than that it wasn't very much better. Rotating Clemons.. yikes
@@mcfrickenwatcher195 it's when he puts his arm around the assistant coach. He's talking about kicking the crap out of the 9ers then he smiles and walks off. It was the Jim and Pete rivalry that went back to there college coaching days.
this team was so dominating but still didn't get the respect they deserved! The super bowl proved that. Going in everyone was talking how good Seattle was but Denver was the greatest of all time and would beat them. LMAO Yes Denver had a historically GREAT offense but it wasn't on the same level as that LEGANDARY DEFENSE. Great met GREATNESS and Greatness won.
My cousin works for the team, directly for the entertainment group and I have met several of them. I was talking to one during the 2006 Wildcard against Dallas as they lined up for the game ending kick. She was depressed level sad but I told her "they haven't made the kick" When Romo fumbled the snap and failed she jumped in my arms and kissed me WELL. . Unfortunately another family member caught it on their phone, a flipping flip phone and my wife saw it. To this day it is a scandal. :)
0:02. Shaun Alexander. Seahawks fans "Who's Steve Largent and Shaun Alexander"? It was amazing how fast the Seahawks bandwagon grew in 2013. The reason why they are called the 12th man is because most of Seahawks fans started watching in 2012.
It's amazing how ignorant you are. Seattle, the only team to do so, retired the #12 in honor of a passionate fan base that continually directly impacted games back in the 80s. The league even instituted a short lived rule that penalized a team because of its loud fans because of Seattle. Been a fan for all 41+ years of my life. Being that Seattle or Alaska south didn't get much media coverage kept most of the country in the dark to what really goes on with a strong, supportive and loyal fanbase that keeps growing.
I was there for Jim Zorn and Curt Warner, to Cortez Kennedy to Marcus Trufant to Kam Chancellor and now onto Tariq Woolen and Geno Smith. I know all about bandwagoneers. The good thing is that now most of them have left. Thank God. When I was a kid my father chose the Seahawks as the A.F.C. team to root for and the Cardinals for the N.F.C. team to root for. Now that the Cardinals and Seahawks are N.F.C. I still pull for the Seahawks and the Jaguars in the A.F.C. No bandwagon here, I can't stand them!
Have you heard about the kingdom .....from the eighties ? Always a sold out game ..... always loud ! To the point that the team was penalized because the fans made 'too much noise ' if you're gonna disrespect fans then at least do your research so you don't sound stupid !
These are big boys, grown men, "dogs", "warriors", "beasts", as they like to call each other.... but don't you DARE spin a ball in front of one of them, you might hurt their feelings and get a flag for taunting.... so f*cking ridiculous....
Are you a racist? What was wrong with his kneeling? He made a good point and we see we need more of it to get people like you to be aware of the problem in this country. It wasn't Kapernick's problem, it was all the racists.
@@jollyandwaylo how do you get i hate woman an im a racist out of kaps girlfriend got him to knee and is a vegetarian ??? Stop making up things? Or is saying someone is a vegetarian racist now ?? Shut up !
I don't give a fuk wat anyone says or thinks !! My team is the Packers loved them cus favre back in the 90's didn't watch football before that but this Seahawks team was best ever!!! Beat 49ers in nfc championship always beat very good Panthers teams dominated entire game against Peyton and the high powered broncos in super bowl beat my Packers in a all heart comeback in nfc championship and should have beat Patriots on their way to 2 straight Superbowl wins !!!
