The Seahawks try to win their third game in a row against a loaded Vikings team that would eventually make it to the NFC Championship game. Also features Dave Krieg's infamous beard!
87 was a tough year as a young football fan, good thing I was in the Navy 85-89. Funny, the first time I saw the Seahawks as a fan since day 1 was 1985 in San Diego. Saw them in 86 in SD again and thought it was a blessing because it was difficult to get tickets back then but in 87 they canceled the 87 game in SD for the strike. BUMMED. I didn't get to see an actual Seahawks game in Seattle until Raiders in 89. Thanks for posting these old games Bobby!
Thanks for sharing this. I played H.S. ball with Paul Skansi but was in the Army for several years and didn't get a chance to watch so many Hawks games. I still get miffed when they lose - even though it was decades ago. I never saw them...
Good Ol DP 'Drop Pass' Turner interview at the end. Fast as lightning with hands of butter. His real problem was being out the night before a game doing coke and groupies.
So glad to find this halftime show. I saw it on youtube way back in early youtube stages in 2006 or 2007 and I remember the funny stuff from this halftime show like when Brent says my Redskins, and your Giants to Jimmy. Or the Patriot coach celebrating with no face, the Cunningham last second win, and the funny Colt flea flicker. So glad to see this up all these years later.
@@Nonsense1986I do! Are you able to offer an answer to my question, its okay if you can't. I wasn't even alive at this time but I'm surprised Jimmy just mockingly laughed Krieg off like that. Seemed unprofessional
@@jayshay4646 I have no idea. I was less than 1 at this time as I was born in December 1986. I started watching the NFL in the 92-93 season when I was in kindergarten. Dave Krieg was a solid underrated QB though who won a lot and made comebacks. Not sure why the Greek trashed him.
@@Nonsense1986 Haha that's alright I appreciate the reply. I know I kinda put you on the spot with that question but I respected the passion and detail in your original comment and I figured you might know some things 😆
I think just for 1987, maybe 86/87 but starting in 1988 he was the color guy with Mike Patrick on the ESPN Sunday Night games and they were that commentary team for a long time.
@@michaelfabian3036 Ok I have just checked and happen to have this one. Not sure when I would be able to put it up though, because I have been very busy lately. But I'll try to!
@@beaubbyvagnert7035 HUGE thanksss for your reply & yes, of course, as you have time, at your convenience!!...Also, for the record IF I may ask about 2 great games:>>MIGHT you have 1982 Vikings vs. Bills, as well as 1986 Seahawks vs. Cowboys?!? Just wanted to get that out & see if it's "do~able", one day! Again, THANKSS :-))... ~MIKE
Do you have 1987 green bay packers at Seattle Seahawks 1990 week11 Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks 1990 week1 Seattle Seahawks At Chicago bears 1990 week14 Seattle Seahawks at green bay packers in Milwaukee
I used to go downtown Seattle with my bros before games and have a great time but there's no way I would do that today . The liberals in power who are scared to death of being called racists have given the criminals a free hand . Truely sickening !
