2 people trying to touch each others head in the softest way possible while standing in the same place for like 20 minutes, sometimes i dont understand why i like this sport.
Ok, im pretty sure NONE of the people who wrote a hate comment couldve done any of what you just saw.. Have some respect.. They have trained for 5+ years.. And the response is this.. Wow guys
5+? Not even close. More like "they have trained their entire lives." I trained for 8 years and the closest I ever came to greatness was 3rd in Canada. These guys are far beyond fighters who've only trained for 5 years.
Hahah 5+ years. Most martial arts take longer than that to get a black belt, let alone to become one of the better practitioners of the martial art. Also, most of these people probably started as children.
ITF practitioner here. Just curious. I'm pretty sure a punch to the body in WTF sparring is 1 point. It's quick and it can be used to close distances. Why don't WTF fighters use it to gain a quick point?
+suckl Maybe they should try to add more fidelity to the electronic scoring like this: Foot sensor - to - Chest = requires more pressure, Hand sensor - to - Chest = requires less pressure.
Execelente combate mis respetos para los peleadores y el arbitro.Mi sueño es algun dia estar ahi y ellos son mi inspiracion para lograrlo bendiciones ❤

The Style is called "kukkiwon". The Committee is called "World Taekwondo Federation". For the other one it's "Oh Do Kwan". Their committee is called "International Taekwondo Federation". There are other kwan disciplines that still exist today, just not as popular.
I really like the confident displayed by the chinise coach through his protest, the officials were also unbiased through their judgement. Mean while, The CUb. have advantage over the Chinise by his hight but didn't utilize it well.
Ppl who 'call' TKD or any martial art should first 'get in' there and prove your point( no pun intended), its always easy on the "outside" to say what they should do/ or what i would do.... Prove it.
NinjaWarriorDude they only need just enough power to score. they need to save there energy for future rounds. why kick a 250 on deado and score one point when you can kick a 30 and get the same point. deado is not a very reliable power meter (from personal experience). it scores things that shouldnt score and vice versa.
tall = slow and predictable, sometimes its better not to make the first move. Taekwondo is fines and points are not usually scored by brutal attacks. So fast is generally better.. tall is good because of the reach though your right. making it generally safer to play defensively with lots of sweeps and lunges.
CupCrafters You're the type of person that makes people not like foreigners. Calling me stupid just because of a personal preference? I wonder what bitter ass country you're from.
Teakwondo is not like MMA or other shit, they focuses on points, more they get points more the chances of wining there will be. If they got in real fight then they will use their powers and all stuff. Mainly they focuses on points
I really think guys are being jerks. C'mon, these guy a have put all this time and effort into training. None of u could beat either of them. calm down.
As a competitor int he sport, I am telling you this is embarrassing, along with 99% of the fights from world championships. Whether its the 1st fight or finals is not important. Either way the fights sucked. 2013 world championships was the WORST world championships EVER. its the damn rule changes that are making our sport look floppy.
