One of; for sure. Its one of my favorites, its but it lacks endgame drama, Ohio put it out of reach way before the final minutes. Because its an upset; watching live doesn't seem out of reach until the 2 minute warning.

Kyle Clay Wow that’s a great, tough question. I loved the hype leading up to the 2016 match-up. For example the hype around the coaches Urban and Harbaugh, and even Lebron vs MJ undertones (Jordan sponsors Michigan, Lebron sponsors Ohio State). While the 2016 was a great comeback for Ohio State, I felt like we played down to their level and should’ve beat them by more. I knew once we tied the game we were going to win. While the 2016 game had more hype and talent , The 2006 game was a true shootout with no separation between the two sides, so for me that’s the one I like better. Lmk ur opinion and if u agree or disagree.

Alabama lost another starting defensive back in Jordan Battle during the 2nd quarter due to targeting. No Devonta Smith the entire 2nd half. Jaylen Waddle and John Metchie were not a full strength and playing injured.

Love watching this. Just an epic game. Both teams had incredible players. I'm a buckeye til I die and love this particular game because of all the trash talk that Ohio State didn't belong in the NC playoffs. I see comments about - "if Oregon had this player or that one playing, no way Ohio State would have won championship..." But we did. And with a third-string QB. No excuses from Ohio.

I'm an Alabama fan, but I'll admit we got outplayed in the last 2.5 quarters of this game. The taunting penalty at 8:02 in the 2nd quarter lit a fire in OSU that 'Bama just couldn't match. Congrats Buckeye fans, your team definitely earned the natty that season. My next door neighbor at the time is an OSU fan ('sup Marty), I'm just glad I didn't talk any $#!+ to him prior to this game.

As I rewatch this game for 4th or 5th time; I'm just amazed by the trench warfare. Im a Buckeye fan, but we didn't really KNOW how great we were; until you see the Ohio Front 4 Stuffing Derrick Henry without LB help. 19:30 a tricky Dime blitz, threaten 6 man rush, it's only a 4 man rush and it's less then a second from a big sack.
