I put custom led taillights on my 2016 silverado LTZ that had factory led taillights they will work u just have to change the taillight harnesses add the one that has the bulbs sockets to the high country or a ltz swap out the harness add a resistor to stop hyper flash it will plug and work fine

If I have the 2018 Silverado with the Factory LEDs, isn't it as simple as swapping out the wiring harnesses to be able to successfully use these taillights??

i heard a lot of spyder tail lights fry the wires and have condensation. They condensation doesnt worry me because i will just reseal them but how can i stop them from frying?

Had these about a month and they started to hyper flash. Any recommendations on new resistors or a fix?? Also the shrink wrap on the resistors must have melted right off. They are no longer protected.

So these use the incandescent bulb for the reverse lights? Those are the ones i need a bit brighter and i have tried all the replacement LED's and the backup cam comes on and stays on until the truck gets put back in park.

I can't get my lower LED's to work, I have a 2018 Silverado, but my reverse lights and upper LED's work fine I'm confused

AmericanTrucks Chevy & GMC cause the double cab silverado is a little more to it then the crew cab an i think it would save the do-it-yourselfers a good bit of money

its hard trying to get them completely in as if they dont fit is there a fix for this? the factory bulbs go right in but the aftermarket plug in doesn’t

Les Holley i used grip pliers they went right in and worked fine, just be sure to work them in carefully and be sure not to press on the wires

it's the clamp pins. They're adjustable you supposed to extend them and then attempt to put them in goes right in or take off the round part put that in first and then slide them in. I broke one of my to tell lights attempting to push him in like he did in the video

The pins are adjustable. Just extend as far as you need to make connection with vehicles tail light harness. Then you won’t have to push in with force.

still no aftermarket taillights for the Silverado's with the OEM LED tail lights?

U can use the same after market taillights on a high country or a LTZ they will work u just have to change the taillight harness and put the one that has light bulb sockets they will plug right in and u can plug any custom taillights in and they will work every harness has the same plug they will hyper flash so u need to add a resistor to each taillight and ur good

You forgot to mention that the clip pins need to be adjusted before you attempt to push it in, broke my tail light listening to you!

I was not able to push male connectors all the way in. I have 2014 double cab. Starting to think it doesn't fit. Anybody have same issue and suggestions?

The price is decent, but im not a fan of its style. That LED trim looks odd with the section cut out for the reverse lights...

Nice but why isn't the reverse L.E.D. as well... What about hyperflashing?

The reverse light bulb simply is not included with this kit to keep costs down a bit for the customer, that's all. You can always purchase a replacement LED reverse light to pair up with these new housing. And resisters are included in this kit so hyperflashing will not happen! -Zach

These LED Tail Lights are SAE and DOT approved and do apply to traffic regulations. -Zach
