2014 BMW K1300S 30th * The Big Boy Bike 

Ive had one of these for 6months, totally addictive! Is the only way to describe it. Awesome bike!

So tempted to get one, used the earlier ones are getting quite affordable now.

I had one for 3 years and 46kmi. I ran it at tracks all over the midwest, yet put 900 miles on it in a single day between Indianapolis and Salt Lake City. At 6'4" there aren't many choices out there for guys my height. While a ZX 14 may be quicker, it's the same argument between a BMW M3 and a Corvette. Sure a Vette produces great numbers, but it will never equal an M3 or 911. It can't at less than half the price! If you like numbers, buy a Kawi. They are tremendous values for the money. Same with the Concours vs a K1300GT. If you have the difference in purchase price you'll never regret owning one.

I have to admit that I liked the K1300S better than my Concours 14, but felt it wasn't worth the extra $4K. They're very similar.

Sooooo...I've not been looking at/researching/riding bikes for a few years...is this the new Hayabusa? Are they basically the same class intended to meet the same "needs"?
