Tools require to remove the belt is t60 torq , 7mm with short extension and swivel adopter to remove intake duct , t12 to remove alternator bolts , 10mm socket to disconnect battery
Idk how you guys found this useful he had done the removal already so we didn't see how he managed to get clearance enough to remove the alternator. This was not helpful to me
My video are for people who already have a mechanical background and knows there way around a car . I don’t have a camera guy to video my work so you would have to figure out what to do from what I explained in my videos . Sorry it was not helpful to you but for me it was sufficient as a mechanic
Rome check this. We were driving two days to vacation. I just returned a room to a garage and she notice very light stains on the concrete. No codes on. I diagnosed condensation drip with oil on the bottom plate. Codes start going off about the battery. I put it in. From Walmart. A year ago. Shop says alternator affected battery while alternator was having oil dripped on it from the turbo. I saw the vid on the line up front that's way easy. So im in a sli g from shoulder surgery so they extracted 2g's out of us as of now.
Can you help? The mechanic replaced my alternator.. same car, same year. Now the radio, display screen is black and won’t power on. They actually say they can’t figure out the problem. Now I can’t listen to radio, charge phone etc
