You should really correct that link in your description for the brake lines. I know in your video you talked about the g8 lines and I’ve read the comments as well. But I’m here to tell you the ZL1 lines do not work on the SS. The rears I modified to fit and the fronts are not even close to working. The brackets are totally wrong. Please update your description for goodridge p/n 12289

So thats how the brake caliper is suppose to sit with the bleeder valve on top? Im lost when ppl say you need to swap them from top to bottom.

Brake bleeders always need to be on top. The problem with Brembos is that we are swapping them to a following vs leading position on the rear axle. This screws up the way the calipers where setup - and Brembo wants the smallest piston to be on the bottom of the caliper.

You need 2015 SS sedan rear rotors, and I used Goodridge Stainless lines for a G8.

hope you mounted the calipers in the proper direction. They mount on the front of the ctsv setup not the rear. two different sizes in the cup's. large is always leading. this can effect the pad wear.

Yes - for the SS/G8 install - you switch the caliper sides - and flip the bleeder and carry over tubes.

Fronts - yes with a C6 Z51 rotor. Rears - no idea.

I doubt it - the bolt pattern is wrong for the wheel.

Are those the oem rear 2015 rotors? Didn't think they came with painted hats and vents.

Andrew - I taped off the rotor surface and painted it with engine primer and then black engine paint. The hub surface paint has flaked off a bit taking wheels on and off- but I painted it to protect the surface from rusting.

I have the 2015 and up rotors but it doesn’t allow the caliper to line up with the stock mounting holes. Do you have a part number for the rotors you have?

Verus cutting at the dust shield can it just be completely removed

You would have to remove the hubs - and that is a total pain in the ass on these cars.

No - the rear V calipers are the same as the Camaro, and the 2015+ SS - they bolt right onto the car with no issue. Except for the dust shield that needs to be trimmed as I already mentioned in the video.
